Finally got my interior bits back from getting wrapped by a great guy in Germany I connected with through ebay.
He did the shift boot, console lid and handbrake.
Had the center console painted by my local body shop and it all turned out amazing.
But the BEST upgrade was removing the Short shifter that came with my car (custom made by my dealership Pfaff Porsche back in 2010) for a new OEM 997 Short Shifter.
Before installing the new SSK I performed the Function First Shift RIght Solution modification to it and I couldn't be happier with the results!!
Slop is almost completely gone. Shifting is short and precise but still smooth. It honestly feels like a brand new car. Easily top 3 in all the modifications I've done.
So glad I didn't go with the Numeric.
My happy for your results! I have the FF shift right sitting in the garage to renew my OEM SSK. I just did the FF motor mounts, I have hope for more improvement.
Car smelled like dog **** (literally) so I pulled the air filter and ran about 1/4 of this (approximately $35K worth) through the system, switching between AC and recirculation to get the smell out. Huge improvement! The real test is if the smell is gone in the morning.
On a side note, anyone know where the car draws the cabin air back in to recirulate? I figured that's worth an inspection too if it's not too difficult to access.
Also did the Function First engine mounts. Pretty straight forward thanks to the DIY section. No more engine lurching on accel/decel, slightly more vibration on decel from 4K to 3K. Not bad, just noticeable. Shifting also improved, less notchy but still 1st gear lock out. Shift Right kit goes in once the cable alignment tool arrives.
Hey I know this is old... what can I say, its a slow work morning and this is my guilty pleasure.
If you take 3D printed parts (FDM) and brush / spray with acetone, it will "melt" the layers and get you a more homologated part and a smoother finish. It does however create a "glossy" part.
How long did the old clutch last did you have any symptoms?
Lasted about 103,000kms- which is earlier than I've ever had to buy a clutch before, but I bought the car used don't know how the previous owner drove it. Brent @ Hunter also said that average is about 60,000kms?!?
One morning, the clutch pedal didn't quite spring back like normal and felt weird- no symptoms at all until that point. Later that same day, it started slipping under hard loads, so I parked it until I could get it into the shop.

I can't help you with where the other intake is located, I'm just impressed by the normal sized Lysol disinfectant spray bottle. that stuff is unobtanium
Installed Mods4Cars Smarttop in my Cab. Easy install, now I get horn honk when I lock and one touch top down (plus no annoying windows going up part way after top is down).
After two years of having a Gateway Incorrectly coded fault “8007” I figured it out! I have a LApower Bluetooth that mimics a cd changer and the phone so the gateway has been looking for those modules. Under gateway- I turned the CD Changer and Phone modules to installed on my foxwell and BAM- No more code.
