Flat bedded my 997.2 C2S to Indy for new clutch. Shifted out of 1st and found no gears to change into! Never happened to me before. Complete failure of 6 MT. Getting my 2 rear shocks replaced at same time with Bilstein B6 for my sport PASM.
Indy took it apart and said need new clutch kit...😢
Was the shifter floppy when you could not find any other gears? Have the indy save the parts so you can look at them and share pictures with us on the forum.
I had never experienced something like the clutch failure before...
As soon as I left 1st gear, there was nothing. Every gear position was a brick wall, no where to go! So yeah, the shift lever just flopped around with no where to go. Tried to jam it over into reverse, felt like I partially forced it in, car stalled. No warning on clutch, no prior slippage. I thought it was in good condition.
