Vincent713, no the Sony XAV AX100 plus the NAV-TV MOST HUR interface did not create any alternator whine in my retro-fit.

Came that way. Must have been added by prior owner.
I see, thanks.
Probably a rattle can and a Porsche-script template indeed

Who wants to use touch screen controls when that volume **** will always be there when you reach out for it without taking your eyes off the road!

The HUR from Sony is model XAV AX100 with NAV-TV interface because of the BOSE System.

Sony XAV AX100 w/Nav-TV MOST interface
On the alpine it is right there on the lower left corner and is push button like a cell phone type thing 👍

Wrapped up the installation of new Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs and brakes all around. Dropped it about an inch. The ride is choppier, but we'll see if the springs settle in a bit.

Of course, no good deed goes unpunished. I immediately got the headlight aiming fault message, so I must have damaged one of the little Rube Goldberg level contraptions while i was working. Have to put it up on the lift tonight to see what I messed up.

Please forgive the dirt.

Yeah, I wasn't going to say anything, but since you brought it up, the hose draped across the paint made me cringe.

Fixed my headlight sensor issue last night. Sure enough, when I was working on the driver's side front, I folded the little drop link backwards. 2 minutes with a couple 10mm wrenches and it was fixed.

I love easy ones like that.

Thanks to Petza for information he posted on another thread about the sensors! It led me straight to the problem.

It's ok guys.... if there is any gas that lands on the paint, he can just take it through an automatic car wash.

LOL

I usually just pull up on the other side of the pump, but to each their own.

Nice car BTW - don't see that color combination too often.
