it didn’t take all the “play” out of it but it’s about 95% of the way. I actually installed a short shifter first but it was too short for my liking, so I went this route and am very happy with it. Both had the same amount of play.

if anybody wants a ssk with bushings, $30 shipped. Hit me up.

Sounds soooooo good now.

Nice work!
How did you flush the power steering looking to do the same I found a procedure on a cayman involves disconnecting lines at the top of the front rack.

Takes a bit to relearn where 1st and 2nd is, as the handle is straight not offset like the stock.
Just got to take it for a ride. Motor is back in and the car is up and running. The shift action is awesome with the numeric cables and shifter. The car is running so well, as it should given the list of items I replaced. I personally had no issues with the gear locations, but it was a quick ride.

Looking forward to picking it up in a day or two and giving it a good go for the next week or two prior to buttoning it up for the winter.

I did it all from the pump while I had the upper reservoir and and serp belt off. I used a fluid extractor to pull the fluid from the lower pump reservoir. I then spun the pump by hand several times filling the lower reservoir up and sucking it out. Once the pump would not pump out any more fluid I would crank the wheels back and forth a few times to get fluid moving back up and repeat the process at the reservoir of turning by hand and extracting the fluid. I was able to remove just under a liter of fluid. Most likely did not get 100% of the fluid, but it was really easy and the fluid coming out looked great. I did not plan on doing this, but when I had it all apart and I saw all bottles of CHF I had laying around my garage I figured why not. Looking back I guess this would be considered more of a drain and fill than an actual flush.

Unhappy no front plate and too dark window tint

So I met this guy yesterday he told me my tint was too dark and my license plate was missing on the front. he wrote his number on a paper and handed it to me. (think he liked my car so much and that is why he stopped me) so I hustled over to my eye doctor and got an eye exam. would you know? I apparently have photophobic eyes and so I completed a medical authorization for sun shading and submitted it to the DMV. Planning to get all new ceramic tint for all the windows now (medically allowed) to prevent UV damage to my leather interior. Not sure yet about the front plate. considering doing nothing and maybe getting to meet more friends with blue lights. IDK not sure.

Just been ordering parts to replace my front rotors, and remove, refinish, and rebuild all 4 calipers. Going with the G2 caliper paint in red. I am just replacing the seals and boots on each caliper, so hoping all the pistons are good!

Lol. It's not the total number. It's the last two digits....

Also the first three ... San Rafael High ... 4:20 in the afternoon ... Meet down in the ball field ... Celebrate the day ...

Or more specifically as a result of the San Rafael tradition ... What is celebrated on the 20th of April?
