Larger rotor with original-sized pads also increases the swept area of the rotor, which is a good thing.
This should result in better heat dissipation (more rotor mass and surface area being used), although I don't know how much it helps in real-world driving.

I can help you fix the look of the car. Take a quick peek at our large customer Porsche gallery to get some inspiration and give me a shout so we can chat - https://wheelsboutique.com/galleries/porsche

Had my Sport design wheel redone with matching gray stitching and red center marker. Also picked up a leather center console cover with the Porsche crest to match the crests on the seat headrests.

I have exactly the same car and tried installing that steering wheel, but afterwards the horn does not work. Was your's a plug and play or did you have to get it done from the dealer for any software changes. Thanks

Wrapped up the installation of shocks, brakes and lowering springs on the rear. Turned the car around and got ready to do the fronts and realized I had to order new bump stops as my originals were in pieces.
I also installed Function First transmission mount inserts (orange) that I'd had sitting on my tool bench for 2 years.
While I was waiting, I had a beer and vacuumed my package tray (it's a helluva lot easier when the convertible top is in the service position), cleaned the inside of the back glass, put Shin-Etsu on the seals and serviced the top mechanism.

It's plug and play but some 09 cars will require a new steering wheel control module for the horn to work. Seems that cars that came with the malfunction controls got the updated module and cars without didn't. My 09 had the old style sport design wheel without controls and I did end up needing the module for the horn to work.

Let her loose!
Driving to and from work today and didn't feel like letting anyone ahead of me at the light so I stomped on it at every light change. Mileage went down, Smileage went up (considerably). Even kept the windows down so I could hear the PSE workin'.
Not a cop in sight, I think there's only 3-4 on my side of town anyways
Car's happy, I'm happy, everything is right in the world.

Replaced all coolant and oil o-rings on the passenger side turbo, installed Torque Solutions turbo inlet pipes, installed a DSC Sport controller, installed replacement HVAC switches, and also a bluetooth USB adapter to the PCM... it was a relatively productive few days.
Next up is the installing the Cobb Accessport... and swapping the Milltek exhaust out for the SpeedTech unit I just ordered!

I was running a bit hot a couple weeks ago Roebling so I ordered a 3rd radiator kit from Rennline. Thanks to everyone that contributed to the upgrade threads here. I installed the 997.1 system along with .2 router. There was a lot of debris in the radiators that I removed during the install. I then created metal grills painted gold on the openings. I really love the final result.

Nice, did not know you could run the cheaper 997.1 kit in .1 car. Can you point me to any threads that detail this, and parts needed, by chance? Did you cut the bottom of your bumper for airflow out the back of your radiator?
