Ordered this, shouldn't have to get it resprayed as seller described as excellent, so a bonus, also waiting for my turbo DRL's & she's almost done, for now . I might get the grills painted to the aluminum look to have some contrast, will see.

Thanks Michael, I'll let you know if I need anything re: wiring, I'm leaning towards the aluminum grills, was also thinking of putting the GT3 "smile" in, still unsure if I'll do it.
I needed something to balance the TT aero spoiler , which after having sent it back 3 times hopefully will be a good color match this time & I should get it fitted tomorrow!

Damn. That is one fine looking car. Love the Cobalt. Specs?

Black graphics, rear badge and center lock nuts would really tie it all together, that final degree. ;-)

I don't know what all those letters mean, but that's some great looking tires. Nice complement to the yellow 911...T

Went for some driving along the swedish westcoast along with some friends for a couple of hours. A few porsches along with a tuned 310 hk Golf6 GTI 35, Audi A4 and a BMW 3-series convertible.

Sorry for the filters, stole a few pics of my girlfriend's instagram.
The grey 997 is mine.

That looks like a blast. I have friends in Jonkoping (sp?) and really want to visit your beautiful country one day....in the summertime!

It's interesting to see people's choices. One of the reasons for the 911R is to eliminate the large RS fixed wing in a car with RS performance to be used on the street. Ferrari does not sell street cars with large wings as a matter of principle. Some P-car fans do not want GTx cars due to large/visible fixed wings.

But... pick what you like.

But I argue... the 911 shape (up to and including the 997) is classic/timeless and certainly not jelly-bean-like.

I don't like the big wing. Looks too much of a kit car like Civic's. Wing is way overdone to me.

Unless your driving super fast and you need all that down force the wing isn't a good look for me.
