I'd think she'd get better treatment after 100+K!!Are all those miles on your watch?

Got my car paint corrected by Always Sunny detailing after my track day. I decided the numbers look cool, so I'm leaving them for a while... It looks amazing. They posted it on their instagram..

Thanks Michael, I will do, I found a real good deal on a set of rear Gen 2 lights, but he won't post, so I'm waiting for when I can get over to Hamburg to pick them up! After that I'll be picking your brains for the wiring
Wiring was easy enough to figure out for the front end, plus my buddy had lots of VW/Audi connectors lying around so he just spliced into the main loom and plugged straight in, job done!

Ordered the OEM short shift kit. I can't believe how long/vague the throws are in the 997.

At least I'm not the only one who does this. All my woodworking projects take place in too close proximity to my car and it always ends up getting a nice layer of dust on it. I cut and sand outside next to the garage but the wind always blows everything right in.

FINALLY got it done! No codes or hyper-flashing on LED side marker bulbs!!!

After 5 different "CANBUS" bulbs, I went with an in-line resistor and 5-LED bulb setup. VERY happy with the outcome...now the whole front end matches when driving day/night! Those 194/T10 yellow-ish bulbs drove me nuts, and I did not like the amber halogen bulb in the clears. Here are the install pics and a shot of the $10 part I ordered from Amazon Will also be posting a write-up in the 997 section. Taped the OWM bulb socket connectors with the in-line resistors, and added silicone around the base of the back of the clear side marker to ensure no moisture gets into the housing. Also secured the metal resistors to the inner fenderwell...worked perfectly! The resistors get hot so make sure they are secure and have nothing contacting them...good air flow/space is also recommended

I have now changed EVERY light bulb (interior/exterior) to LED (sans HID's, just upgraded the bulbs). LED GTS complete

Looks good.
Not sure why folks are having trouble with the canbus bulbs. Below is where I replaced mine and didn't have any issues.

Yeah I have no answer...saw your post, and I used multiple bulbs that were similar to the ones you installed. Oh well, at least it is working now! Thanks for the info

Installed billy boat bypass pipes and then went for a spirited drive to "make sure the bolts were tight". Or at least that's what I told my wife as a went down the driveway

HAHA perfect excuse...pure safety!

Did a thread on the LEDs if anyone needs a reference...but as we saw earlier, my setup may not be always required

The PSM Failure message will go away after you drive the first mile or so. Happens anytime you disconnect the battery.
