Cleaned it after the TX BBQ Run warm-up, then a little Quik Wax. Leather wipe down and conditioner. Griots rubber and vinyl dressing is next on the agenda...T

Just got my first Blackstone report. "It looks like tie 997 was doing well during this oil change interval. The engine isn't making any more metal than normal, and universal averages for this type of Porsche engine are based on a much shorter run of about 4,100 miles (oil change at 8300 miles). If you look at an element such as iron on appm/mile basis, your Porsche is wearing better than most others of its investment. A small bit of fuel dilution prevented this from being perfect report, but that's harmless. Probably just from city coving or maybe even idling the engine before taking the sample. Looks great for 42,839 miles! "

Feels good to get a good report.

Installed 7/15 spacers today and I'm very pleased with the results!

Sorry for the dirty rims!

I bought a lightly-used set of Fabspeed Sport Headers with 200 cell cats from a fellow Rennlister. This should be a great compliment to my PSE to add a few more horses and give me an even better exhaust note

Can't wait to get these installed hoepfully next week

Replaced my cracked coolant tank. Had to lower the engine a few inches for clearance. Overall PITA but not terribly difficult.

Drove to Trader Joe's with my 12 year old daughter; used my wife's recyclable grocery bags. Sat in the parking lot and shot the breeze with my daughter while we ate an entire bag of INNER PEAS. I love those things. Checked the oil level of course....spilled some green crumbs on the seat.

TJs with daughter in the 997... one of my favorite things to do as well! We'll have to try the Inner Peas!
