Great drive home from Indy this morning. More and more impressed and this from a guy who swore he'd never own a water pumper. Got it cleanup up. I think after Porsches since 1976 and a Harley, which is impossible to keep clean, I finally have it down. Rinse. Soap and water with boar hair brush. Special attention to bugs. Rinse with de-ionized water. Squeegee. Blow off remaining water. Wash and dry wheels and windows. Try not to touch paint surface, which I clayed last Fall. Looks good for a 9-year-old car.

A quick brake bleed before the new Top Gear. Pedal was a little soft after the last two track days on the wrong pads. It needed it.

Here's two then! However I misjudged the height of the garage.. Thankfully they were bought using Amex so my mistakes are covered.

You're lucky. Driving into a garage with the bike on the roof is one of my worst nightmares. I always try to remember to drag a chair or a garbage can into the middle of the garage to prevent myself from pulling the car in after a ride... but sometimes I don't always remember to do this. Someone needs to develop an app that senses when a bike is mounted to the roof and locks out the use of the garage door opener.

That's a nifty rack. I know I could search around for brands which fit, but can I ask you where you got yours from?

BTW, I could easily drive into my garage with that rack on - don't feel bad!

Rack is Porsche OEM and the bike mounts are rocky mount brand. Works well, no issues with it. Was in REI and thule and yakima have very similar racks.
