Default Black accents

Finished adding all the black accents pieces to my 911. So far I've added:

Started with a sand beige interior with black dash and door tops

• Carbon fiber rock guards
• Carbon fiber mirror caps
• Black & nickel silver hood crest
• Black & silver wheel center caps
• Black, thin bezel license plate frame
• Black door latch covers (easiest install ever)
• Black, plasti-dipped Carrera S badge

I washed and quick waxed mine. Sadly, it doesn’t look like I can get Griots Speed Shine recommend by another user on this forum here in Canada. So I used Meguiar’s products instead. Came out rather well I thought.

Got some time to myself today, when the wife and kid were out of the house.

Still not completely done yet (still need to attach end flaps underneath), but it came out nicer than I expected.

Changed the air filters. Not a major job, but got it done.

Hate to point out the obvious, but if you want to be "incognito as much as possible", then driving around town in a Porsche 911 is probably not the best way to go about it.

Nice accents, it's nice to be able to add black accents to a white car, I wonder how white accents would look on a black car

Finally had a chance to just go for a cruise yesterday afternoon after washing it. Today I'll be replacing air and cabin filters and doing a little interior cleaning.

Default Derby Party

Normally we are at the Derby (5 consecutive years) but too busy this year so ... off to a Derby Party here locally. Had some friendly betting on who the winner would be. Amazing that Nyquist pulled it off. Really tough race when the entire track is covered with horses of all talent and speed. The party was lots of fun and we had great weather, food etc.

Hard to believe the hat fit in the frunk!

Nice work and makes me think that mine are due for the same. Never hurts to let a little more air into a flat 6

yesterdays..

drove its for 8 hours back and forth in the foothill twisties along the Tennessee/North Carolina/South Carolina borders. Met a cool guy named Bill along with way. He was driving a Z/28. A Callaway Z/28 actually. Said he had a GT3 RS as well and pointed me in the direction of "an even more challenging" route. not only 8 hours back and forth in the twisties but 2 hours each way from Charlotte to get there and back as well.
