Is the front bezel removable? I have factory painted center console and would need to buy the unit, remove and send out to have painted.
If so, how difficult to remove/easy to break?

I don’t know how easy it is to remove but it is removable mine is at exclusive options now getting leather fitted to it. Hoping to have it back soon and can share pics.

earlier in this thread someone painted theirs. they ended up masking the screen as removal seemed daunting.

Anyone having carplay issues with iphone 14 pro? Can't tell if it's the pccm, the phone or the phone case (which uses a lightening cable plug so it's the intermediary betweent he pccm & iphone.) Swapped cables to see if that was the issue but still having the same problem. Seems like it just randomly stops working.

My thing is, it worked perfectly with my iphone 11 pro. Only started having issues after I upgraded the phone.

Not experienced that at all but then again i am hooked up wireless.....the system tends to re-boot now and then but i believe this is a software issue and hopefully Porsche will have an update soon.

Thanks for the reply. It's super frustrating because it works fine for a while and then shuts off. I think it's more the phone than the unit, just going by things I've found on google and reddit, even with other car brands.

I’m using it with an iPhone 14 pro max without any issues, but I am using an ottocast wireless adaptor.

Very interesting. Happen to have a link to the exact one you use?

No worries, this is the one I bought
Amazon Amazon

I’ve also done the mod to move the front usb to the rear and rear to front. I’ve got the socket in the glovebox that this plugs into. You’ll see my pics somewhere above in the thread (post #1901)

Default Clock can’t be set

I put the PCCM+ in my 07 C2S. Love it. I put a wireless BT that goes into the USB port. Works fine

my problem is that the car’s clock cannot be reset. The car had OEM Nav. I think that’s where the car clock got its info. Does the PCCM+ make the clock disfunctional or was it an installation error? HELP

There is a clock synchronization setting in the menus. Have you checked that? For some reason, mine will not set if I leave it to sync with gps. If that option is checked, I could not reset the car clock correctly as it follows the time from the PCCM+. I have set mine manually through the PCCM+ and it all works well that way.

Yes, it is one of the settings options on the headunit. I can't recall which, but under the car menu and you should get there. I hope that fixes it for you.

I did mine as the car came with Aluminium trim as standard and the PCCM+ did not match and was too dark.
23 screws of 2mm with Torx head. Be slow and methodical and take lots of pictures. Silver Alu 03 then clear coat. Make sure it is very dry before reassembly and take care with the buttons and switches.

Robin.
