Went for a drive with my oldest Son who is a little under the weather. I think some WOT pulls cheered him up.

Feels like I may be getting used to the acceleration unfortunately. I can more easily look at the tach while nearing redline and not lose focus on the road. I have yet to find the lateral acceleration limits though even with cheap tires. Very impressive grip.

It is always so interesting to hear how much of a handful some of you guys cars can be, I'd guess the difference is mostly in the tire, but my car even on the street the few times I've driven it around on previous setups was such the puppy dog. I never had traction problems above like 40 mph, even with 710 whp and RWD. A buddy wanted me to do 60-130 run for dragy and a video clip so I took off brake boosting from 40 mph and it just hooked up and went. I think he was disappointed that we weren't doing rolling burnouts down the interstate

When I drove my car home with the cardan shaft out (so rwd), I didn't notice that it really felt any different. Still had plenty of traction, even with me getting into it to feel the new tune out.

I wouldn't be surprised if some these cars have alignment issues and/or worn rubber bits in the suspension, aside from the theory of tires. Although mine was aligned shortly before purchase following the addition of H&R springs and new bilsteins, the specs were off (-.3 and -.45 toe in the rear) leading to instability.

Continuing my GT2 build. Some genuine GT2 still plates off the bay.

It's all that rear end grip.

When I had my GTR, the consensus in the group was that you'd need more hp to beat a 911 in equal race.

997.2 diff? Always looks like a decent conversion.

I wouldn't push lateral on the street to see where the limit is, All of a sudden you find out and it wouldn't be good

That seems INCREDIBLY cheap.

I'm told they break loose and it's near impossible to counter steer out of it. I am taking a U-turn near me at about 45mph with no tire noise but it's definitely digging in hard. I need to find a large paved area and see what it can do without any obstacles.

I don't really have a problem putting the power down with a Wavetraq; I think I may be on the power cusp of what the chassis is good for on the street.

If I had a limited slip it would already be out.
