So with the new non-dead battery and the new starter, is your car firing right up? Curious if you have any more issues of the battery draining after a short drive.

So far, seems ok... I have to take the truck in tomorrow, so I'm going to let it sit for the day, and take it in Friday, and out to Delta.

Battery is my spare, so aging. Supplier is sending me a new one tomorrow.

Installed a really nice Momo wheel. Now my hands don't hit my legs when I turn the wheel.

Did a track day. A beautiful day which ended up being a crashfest and breakdown-fest for some reason. Out of 1 hour I got 12 hot laps @ 85 seconds each. I went with Ed @69911 and his son and some friends.

That the Techline one, I do not believe Cerakote has a heat dispersal coating.

I put Techline Turbo-X coating on the Kline headers for the 991 Turbo S, though I guess it has the opposite function of your coating. Designed to be a thermal barrier instead of dispersing heat. Has held up very well so far, though it's hard to for me to quantitatively evaluate it....

Do a nice mileage run.. try not to stop, use cruise and see what it does; the 996 is now turning over 27.4mpg, so definitely an improvement.

I'm thinking about getting a spray gun and doing my own coating - the Cerakote cures at room temps, Techline needs an oven..
