Yeah, I noticed that. Good stuff.

It also appears that my car came with Sport Technos, but it does have twists on it now.

I'd be curious to know what that was meant to imply.

that's pretty cool they do that. i didn't know they did this service? looks more comprehensive than vin analytics site. my car changed hands through multiple owners and i'm trying to gather all it's history to create a baby book for it.

It's $10; my guess is it comes out of Porsche in Germany, or a system that dealers have access to, at least.

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/VIN.html

Another route is the Porsche Production Specifications, formerly Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. That provides a limited set of this data, but has an official look to it. That's $100.

Mad props to @sdematt for supplying me with an almost perfect set of sport seats to replace my dog trodden set from the PO. All was well, until an amber alert came in and started me as I was placing the passenger and managed to do a couple grand worth of damage to my brand new exlusiv option console.... Consistent with my abiltiy to destroy fragile bits and pieces.

And the pics, no clue why I cannot attach them to the original post...

Oh, no - I feel you on that. Any chance it can be repaired?

Nada, I peeled it off the base, so it'll have to be completely refinished.

Doh!

Washed it:

This car was improperly washed many times by a previous owner. I’m going to have to take this for a paint correction and ceramic coating:

Stock rims with all season tires off; black rims with summer tires on.

Did an oil change and drove it all last week. Feels good to be in the 60s-70s again, and can't wait to rip through the mountains soon.

My Turbo is in lockdown in the garage until "The Yellow Menace" (pine pollen) subsides here.

It hit 45 here last week, and the roads were mostly clean and dry, so that was warm enough for me. Just Northeast US things.
