Very interesting color and spec on this one. All carbon fiber and supple brown leather on the inside.
Looks to have 996.1 side skirts on a 996.2. Good looking car. A lot of owners. Not enough info on IMSB replacement. Almost an afterthought. As a 996.2 owner I certainly want to see more Gen 2 Coupes on BAT. Not certain if this one will command a decent price. But I will be watching.

He does add some pizzazz to each post.

I just think some levity is in order. I'm involved with other hobbies where everyone wants their items to go 'interstellar' and yet once they do, they complain they can't afford them anymore. It's a double edged sword.

But I do like the colorful commentary. lol

??? The most expensive Carrera of all time (CGT) has oblong, monohoused headlights directly derived from 996 GT1. So does the 918

Inferior?? The (round headlight) 993 GT1’s didn’t even finish LeMans, much less win

996 is the only 911 in Porsche history to win Overall at LeMans

Carerra GT, the most remarkable sounding exhaust ever. Nothing compares. If you never heard one live, do everything you can to get to a Porsche event that has one. You can even look at the headlights...

Add/Edit: with the exception of the 917 of course.

That should move fast I would think. Probably an understatement.

Hey man if you want to take that feeling to the next level start shopping for pickup trucks with me. Your name implies this pain is not foreign to you.

Anyone know this vehicle or have any history on it? Dealership is no help with record even though is looks like it has only been serviced there.

Was interested when it popped up so did some searching. It appears to be a legit single owner, bought there, serviced there, and returned there; that lifecycle tends to repeat at dealers. Also did not find anything on a google search, or on BaT. Also had my friend run it through Manheim and it doesn't appear to have made an appearance there. So, outside of finding the previous owner on here or 6speed your best option is to try and get some service info by sweet talking any of the service advisors.

Nicely optioned IMHO.

Although I have never tried, seems like odd policy. Sorry, cannot help with a PPI spot near you. Good luck!
