Hey, all - it's been fun. My 996 has sold, and I'm moving up to a 996 Turbo.

Old: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1284501

New: https://www.morong-falmouth.porsched...0633888062.htm

I'll come back with some better photos when the TT is in my garage.

Actually it’s not a good thing to me.
I don’t plan on ever selling my 996.2.
It makes picking up another 996 much more expensive too.
I wish 996es would remain unwanted and cheap!

Congrats and keeping it in the 996 family I see. Same as our other member who sold his 99 for a 6.2 turbo. Should be fun.

I'd agree with that. The regret usually comes on the selling end with a 911.

Congrats!!!
Definitely post some pics.
It looks great even in those comically bad dealership photos.

There will be regrets, and I don't doubt that I'll one day be searching for a 1999 911 again.

Looks like it was owned by a Rennlister 5 years ago with 26k

Former owner is still somewhat active here, was online a couple days ago

Lol funny to read that thread in 2022.
Note: Car only, w/o spare set of Allegarita wheels and Toyo tires would be $54,500. Only a few inquiries so far. Guess everyone's buying bubble priced early 911s instead of Porsche's supercar bargain... the 996TT.

Beautiful TT with low miles but you are priced towards the high end of the range which would account for the low traffic.

very nice.. i found one similar on autotrader. slightly newer with a few more miles asking about the same.. in talking with him, i think the market is mid-high 40's.
MID 40S FOR A TT WITH 30K MILES. I'd buy 10.

Those photos are terrible. I have access to a folder with other shots; here are a few.

lol, that dealer should be embarrassed by how bad they are.
Congrats on the new ride though! I'm also leaning turbo but I can't do black or silver which limits the pool of potential candidates.

Inflation, price appreciation at its best. From $50”s in 2016, to $70”s in 2022. Once you drive it let us know how fast it is since it has been modified.
