It probably would be to most. I'd rather find a deal, buy it, take my time doing the work and then sell it when I'm done. If I do this right I can do the work for free. Renting is throwing money away in my world.

like my car and probably would do something to it engine wise, just I could buy this one but I don’t like garage queens.
I really like the 997 Carrera s. I’m currently bidding on 07 Coupe S with the x51 package and blue which I love. Don’t know if I win it, but that one is pretty special 381 hp out of the box.yes I already told wife and son about a pool. Met a Porsche guy at cars and coffee that has a pool building company 3 weeks ago.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-911-targa-17/ - Targa looks great save for the recent comment "oil changes every 2 years as per Porsche" yikes!

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...fqw-FaR-3xpZ0Y - gotta love that X51 with LSD and full leather interior. I'd trade the luggage for sport seats in a heart beat.
with the super frequent oil changes that targa is fixing to blow up anytime. Like the red one that blew up in Texas driving from California never making home to Florida. Jake built an engine for that one.

This was a surprising result. $35k.
I'm betting people were dubious about abuse with that s/c kit

This appears to have been female driven. Manicured nails picked clean the interior driver's side door handle and point heeled shoes made small holes in the drivers floor mat.

My driver's door handle looks similar and my frunk and engine lid pull levers are similar.

Sure, even so, 2 years seems like a really long time, especially with the car doing 2600 miles over about 5 years. That doesn't translate to a lot of long drives and the owner did say he owns multiple cars. Even with so little driving I'd change the oil once a year at the least out of sheer boredom. It's hardly an expense and a time investment. And don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the car - I think it's a beautiful example and will probably do very well. Hoping the new owner will drive it a good deal more as these cars are such a blast I have a hard time understanding how you let one sit so long.

Yup, that and the bad Carfax, and the "aftermarket" giant rear wing, and the 19" Japanese wheels, one broken key, and missing factory stereo, etc. etc. etc.

It actually rose in price 10% from last BaT sale two years ago, which is striking.

The power of BaT never ceases to amaze

I don’t think he knows that BBS’s forged wheels are made in Japan.

^^^ ???

I didn't make any derogatory statement about wheels that are forged in Japan. In fact if you now wish to ship yours to me I will gladly receive them!

I simply listed such as being a valid reason for decreased price in contrast with the correct factory wheels that are "missing" in this case.
