This will be interesting. It sold for $24.5k in January. The actual build sheet is pretty basic, it's had a lot of stuff added on

997 was the only Porsche generation that installed sunroof as standard on the GT’s. Only the RS’s delete the sunroof by default. You have to chuckle at the notion of paying $300K+ for a 997 GT “track rat” with a sunroof.

It was called the cars & coffee spec Basically for those that drove a total of 1500 miles per year with no track time but numerous C&C visits.

2 of my favorite variants in great condition are up on BaT - Targa and 40AE (yeah I'm biased...sue me).
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-911-targa-17/ - Targa looks great save for the recent comment "oil changes every 2 years as per Porsche" yikes!
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...fqw-FaR-3xpZ0Y - gotta love that X51 with LSD and full leather interior. I'd trade the luggage for sport seats in a heart beat.

I was going to keep it, but I need to buy a Bulldozer and track hoe to clean up my 120 acres in the middle of nowhere after cutting some timber. It's where I go to forget that Porsche's and their owners exist.
Hoping that it will sell without any formal advertisement, and certainly without BaT and the damn commenters.

I'll use that Targa as a bench mark for the one I'm finishing now and decided to sell. 77K miles, Stage II FSI 4.0, original engine died of bore scoring. Have no idea what it is worth.

Luckily I was able to sell "Mr M9X" and also a few of my other Porsche cars without ever mentioning them anywhere. All I have left is my 88 Carrera, my 912E and my 356. The 88 might go soon.
