Going past Olympia Supply, that is a pretty good grade to climb. We have almost 1/2" of ice at our place south of Shelton. The 996 is snug inside the garage. The boat is not so snug.
Yesterday I ordered a GT3Tek rear bumper diffuser for my 99 C4 . I have the same one on my Boxster S . Yes it's just for looks but I like the way it looks 😁
Nice!
Did you stick with 3.4, or did you go larger?
Just a basic 3.4L. Just couldn't justify spending the extra coin, considering the engine rebuild has cost more than what I spent buying the car!

Lol. Thanks. I've actually been really pleased with how smoothly everything has gone so far. Car really hasn't been fighting me too much, other than snapping every single exhaust manifold bolt during disassembly.
Well, I am traveling a bit further down that slippery slope. A Christmas present FOR my 996. I just picked up a track tire trailer as I just signed up for a late January track day at RR. Now I just have to figure out what kind of hitch to use! Any suggestions?

Nice trailer!
That would be perfect for the track or drag & drive.
(I’m considering building a drag & drive car next)
There is a thread (at least a couple of years old) where someone made a hidden hitch.

Replaced turn signal assembly for second time (first replacement lasted 3 years). This time got 3-stalk version (4th stalk directly swaps from old assembly) so saved money, and from FCP Euro lifetime warranty. This thread has many tips how to do it: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...alk-issue.html
If you know a tool or technique to release these connectors please let me know. I put a little screwdriver in there but it leaves marks.
There used to be a kit available from SportTows, but they seem to not be offering them any more: https://www.sporttows.com
Maybe you can reach out and get a template to fabricate your own.
Willwood used to make a kit as well. Sometimes listed in the want ads.

Thanks for the link, I will check them out. I have seen many a 996 towing a tire trailer so looking forward to seeing what is out there.
