I took the mufflers off of mine and have been running it like a hooligan for the last two years. Although about 3 months ago I got a check engine light for a "faulty" O2 sensor....
is it bad to run these cars without the mufflers? kinda curious to start the thing up like this.
I wouldn't do it long term without the muffler deletes so your exhaust exits the rear of the car correctly.
But for a quick romp around the block, go ahead and go for it.
Fresh oil and filer change. Ran a 20oz can of SeaFoam through a nearly empty tank as hard as I could. Then topped it off with fuel for it's winter nap.
removed the interior, vacuumed the carpets, dropped in a new center console from Rose Passion and a center console lid from exclusive option. resurfaced the ash tray and the e-brake cover and lexol'd the leather bits. got the seats back to "supple" leather. very rewarding. feels like new again. the only scratches left in my interior are on the e-brake itself which I may have to do something about now...
Today I looked at pictures of my engine.
The pictures were taken last week, but I just had to look at them again.
I'll just post a few out of 130 pictures from last week.
In no particular order:
