I have an AWD 996 with 19" wheels and those are the tires that came on it - and it drives beautifully.
What is needed for sizes that are non-stock is to match as close as possible the factory tire diameter. The front tires need to be a bit larger diameter than the rears to make the AWD work correctly.
The sizes I listed: 235/35-19 is 25.47" and the 315/25-19 is 25.28" which is perfect. The 305/30-19 is 26.3" - much too big, it needs to be smaller than the front.

Started pulling apart the front and found my boy Milton along with his/her friend a big old red boi. Gonna try to rig something up to catch them overnight. Getting sick of getting in and worrying about a mouse running around, I mean they are kinda cute but I would prefer them not in my car lol.
I respect the humane thing, but those little critters have friends and they like to party....at your expense. Get a couple of snap traps baited with peanut butter and be done with it. I store my M1009 (a military Blazer) out on the driveway and have had a few mice find their way in. They can be destructive and they sink if left alone for any period of time. After I caught three inside my truck (the snap traps), I put the traps under the hood. So far, they have not wandered inside the truck and have been caught outside the people compartment.

I would rather collapse the population of those critters around the house than replace wiring in any of my vehicles.

For sure, that is my biggest concern is the wiring. I just need the other to take the bait, if the other one hasn't taken fallen in yet I don't think the type of trap would make a difference. I gotta work today but I might grab one tomorrow and put it outside the car if the other doesn't end up in the bucket. I've lived here for 26 years and I don't recall ever having this issue before. I've had signs of animals on cars I've left outside that sat for a while but not on the inside, probably just need to drive it more.

I know of at least one instance of a car (not a Porsche) so badly damaged by mice that the insurance company totaled it.

I've heard on some cars the material the harness or wires are made of attract critters. I drove it the other day to the store with Milton running around on the passenger side. Hopefully no damage is done but I suppose next winter I will have to set traps around the car.

Well today I paid an $10k bill for preventative maintenance plus new radiators, then I went for a 200 mile drive in the desert to shake it down. So much fun.

Roosevelt lake actually, up near the Tonto National Monument. Unfortunately Lake Powell is more than a day trip from Phoenix.
