@Patriot@stiff///M I went to buy one a year and a half ago and was told that the 6cyl would not be sold in Mexico. I bought my Macan Turbo instead. Very different cars but very happy with how things turned out. Still love those things.

Just got rid of my Macan GTS when I got my T allocation. Those cars are a blast.
I think Ruby Star Neo will have a similar effect on people.
Been a while since I have posted. So my European delivery which was originally scheduled for March 16th has been moved to March 23rd. Apparently the car could not be inspected in time for delivery even though it was completed 3 days ahead of time. So have been scrambling to cancel and rebook flights, hotels etc.

I think it is a very polarizing colour, you either love it or hate it, but a nice change from some of the meh colours
I just got the call for my 992 T - a May build. The problem is, I just bought a 991.2 T (7MT, LWBS, SportDesign) two weeks ago. Now I need to decide whether to buy the 992 or pass.
FYI - they honored their initial offer to sell the car at MSRP but asked me to buy a $5K Porsche watch or trade in my 991.2. It didn't sound like either were hard requirements, more like requests, but maybe they were just being polite.
I passed on my 992 allocation. I couldn't see compromising on European Delivery and getting rid of my 991.2 after only five months. I hope someone else in the Bay Area enjoys the chance to get an early 992 T build, and that my dealer comes back to me with a second chance aligned with European Delivery next summer.

I think I just got the allocation you passed on, a May build in the bay area. I already have a March build so I passed on too. Hope someone else enjoys the chance! It seems not hard to get MSRP allocations here as I've got three chances (and passed on two of them).

Yeah, feeling like everyone is sensing the hand-wringing around the 992.2 being on the precipice, and the “new” 992T is maybe being used as a tool to close out the last stretch of 992s.
Which would be a smart marketing strategy.
If there is an NA 4.0 at the low end, that would def give me pause as well. Still, 1) the 992.1 is a beautiful and capable design, and 2) what will the price be for the 992.2?
So I’m not giving up my T allocation just yet. The worst case scenario (getting a 992.1T) is not a bad scenario at all.
