Before the TYD updated, I would technically be in stage "3" and in the United States it used to be 14 stages... 3 is the stage after Freeze point where the VIN is assigned and the start date/schedule of production is fully confirmed (7 days prior to your build date)... But now that the app is updated to the new version I am technically still in phase 2/5. Next Friday I will enter 3/5 which is production, and 2 weeks from today I will enter stage 4/5 which is completed production... and then June 6th is my 5/5 stage which is listed as Euro delivery Experience and is the final stage on the new TYD.
Does The commission number mean anything as far as order of build or reservation?
Probably a random number, but also probably easy to figure out. My allocation was given in December with a build date of 3/3... My commission number is above, so anyone with similar timeline can assess if this has anything to do with it.
not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but my production start date was supposed to be yesterday and has not yet been updated to show that I have advanced from being scheduled for production
y'know what? I jumped the gun. Production START date is 3/3.
@Scott P You and I will be assembly line buddies. My car hit the 2/24 scheduled for production point today as well (My Vin Number was added to my TYD website page)... and My production is scheduled for next friday 3/3. What is weird is that I don't show anywhere near as many steps as you do on your MyPorsche Page. I used to have all of those, and now mine has simplified to a 5 step process.
If you go on the actual website, I think you will find your Vin Number is there underneath your commission number... At least for me, hitting the 2/24 production scheduling phase added the VIN
