just out of curiousity , those of you that are submitting "stripper" builds , are the dealers giving any pushback about the build and lack of options ? most dealers try to persuade buyers away from lightly optioned builds and recommend some options that add resale value
I optioned 5 items on jet black - FAL,RAS, 18 ways, folding mirrors and large tank - but had less than one day from getting the allocation to locking the build (both a great and terrible timeline!) - no SA pushback- but did get asked 3 times that I’m 100% sure I didn’t want a sunroof!
Wow, I have been waffling back and forth with my build and I thought $145,070 (https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PPIUHRR7) was relatively mild! I did stop myself at paying $3.6K just for some yellow stitching. Sure looks great, but when you think about it, holy moly those are expensive threads!
Agonizing for sure. I'm in the same boat and yet I keep telling myself, I'd rather have my car later than sooner in WNY.
Its funny because I'm the same... I have no control over pick up since I have a set date to go to Leipzig, so its not like Ill get it any soon with Euro Delivery... I guess I just need the constant stimulation of seeing it move along the process haha.
I'm actually 50/50 on this. I keep reading about the 4.0 coming to the Carrera but also don't think it will be the T. The 718 GTS got the 4.0 so maybe the 911 GTS will also. Not sure, but sure as hell would be exciting.
@Macboy Thank you! These past few days of photos of the T in the wild have been exciting. I still have two weeks for my build to lock and will have some final decisions to make.
IGM with high gloss black looks brilliant and is giving me pause on my current GT Silver with lizard green interior build.
