@avid Great questions and adding a Spyder to your 992 T would be such a great compliment. You see, in a way I am trying to do the same, but maybe failing at it.

Secondly, because I do share the Targa, this next "one" will be only for me.

Third, the idea is to track the GT4, but so far has been easier said than done. I know any of the other cars will probably be just as capable to track as a novice. But there is something special about the GT4 and for those dedicated focused trips, it is amazing.

Lastly, I recognize how fortunate I am to be in this situation. But maybe you're right and I am all swept up in the T fanfare LOL.

For people who missed it: here is the prove of the chrome/silver ring around the headunits when ordering PDLS+. For this reason I left this option out. If you have the silver exhaust end tips you can leave this as a match for the silver/chrome connection.

Too bad that inner U-thing can only be black when ordering the dark Matrix-lights but no way I am paying that much (€3800) for just a bit of darkness. And I can complain about the prices as you all now understand

I've been there too. I love cars and I'm equally fortunate. I think it's easier to add than to subtract and I'm trying to be mindful about my choices. Really thinking through what you're actually going to need and use takes effort and it's a personal process I feel. Though I'm not in a position to have a multi dozen car collection, I never would. It just doesn't make sense to me and feels like hoarding. It feels to me like more than three cars is unnecessary. Maybe 5, lol.

This is great therapy session right here. We need more Rennlisters like yourself, expect we just have a bunch of enablers :P (I love you enablers as well...). The beauty about the T is, it is not going away anytime soon. The .2 is just around the corner...

Enjoy the anticipation, at this point I am even excited for others who have submitted their builds and eagerly awaiting for delivery. Living life vicariously through y'all!

Oh don't worry, I'm a pretty good enabler and love pushing people down the slippery slope of mods. Haha.

@JCZ5 @avid @everybody

Like I posted this afternoon: 69 pictures in total. Used about 40 I think. Driving 200miles just for some mobile pictures lol. But I’m pretty crazy when it comes to Porsches. It’s a long awaited dream come true. Never dared to imagine being able to drive them, let alone own them or buy a new one from factory specced by myself. It’s trully amazing and I feel very fortunate (although I worked hard for it myself). So I also feel very proud. I am not so proud at the world we live in thus being a car enthusiasts and specially a Porsche enthusiast is something special to me. Don’t know how long we will be able to drive these machines. So am hyped to the max. Life is short. So it’s not crazy you are swept in as well with this T-hype that is going on with all these similar Porsche and car-enthusiasts. It’s a thing we all feel and have in common. We cannot share this with everybody in our everyday life. I mean come on, the exhaust button. What sinful person would come up with such drama

I was on this same path until i realized the top 2 lights on the standard are silver as well. it's like a top half silver of the 4 dot lights. This bothered me more than the silver ring so optioned back to PDLS+

I agree with you @Macboy . I was in a similar position in 2018 when I spec'd my 991.2T. First Porsche (used or new) and then my dream one (911). I still have photos I took when I was around 10 years old of Porsches in the neighborhood in Germany where I grew up in. It was a lifelong dream of mine and had it not been for my wife to pursue it, I'm not sure I ever would have had bought one. It always seemed like a distant dream at the time. And now, I'm in the position to continue that dream with a 992 (potentially). Maybe will wait for 992.2. I'm not in a rush.
Congrats to you and everyone else that's in the same boat (first Porsche or not). Cheers!

Seriously? Nobody has mentioned this before you… oh man went wrong there I guess. The SA did not even know about the rings let alone the rest. So much knowledge here.

I'm sure that is almost not visible from some distance. Especially when you almost always have lights on (DRL).

Details matter. I won't have chrome rings around headlights or silver/chrome exhaust tips on a modern Porsche. Give me the diamond button if necessary. A caddie maybe...

I'm going from an EV (Taycan 4S) back to ICE for one last time, because this may be the last non-hybrid / manual transmission equipped 911 that we can order new from the factory. In some ways, I feel like the Ford Model T owner who's trading for the fastest, strongest horse just for the thrill of it and knowing that change is coming.
