Ok...I want a picture. Can’t they just do what they normally do, hold our desires for ransom with a drop-down box on the configurator? I’ll start the bidding at...hmmm...$250. That oughta pay for a few cameras and kids to lug them around.

It’s 2020...we need pictures of literally everything.

I have friends that would never go with anything other than the Cab version. Didn’t mean to crap on others’ preferences, I was voicing my own bias because...well...as we know...bias runs this world.

Arrival at Emden was 11/5 per TYD. Estimated on vessel is 11/27. No idea which ship but hoping it's earlier so I can get my car before the new year. Currently estimated PEC-Atlanta 12/20 but I believe I read that PEC is closed 12/20-1/1?

Also still no pictures as the main page says my car is scheduled for production.

So my TYD updated. My production start is scheduled for 11/20 with finish 11/27. Scheduled for Vessel boarding 12/18. I live on SoCal and had optioned PECLA delivery (about 30 mile from where I live and about 15 miles form the dealer). TYD yesterday had entry to Port of San Diego 1/15 with dealer delivery for same day, I know only estimate. Today, it updated to Benicia delivery 1/15 and PECLA delivery 1/17. So as others have experienced, PECLA deliveries appear to come through Benicia Port, though San Diego port is 280 miles closer. I had also received my PCNA email thanking me for my PECLA delivery and based on my tentative port arrival date they probably can't accommodate me until early to mid February. I can't schedule until it i boarded on a vessel. I'm thinking that maybe i should have just done dealer delivery. Well hopefully EPA/CARB is officially done.

I have the exact same schedule.

I saw the update yesterday on a report from the dealer. Production scheduled to commence on 11/20 with completion scheduled for 11/27, exit port Emden 12/18 with delivery to Benicia 1/15, and to arrive at dealer 1/22.

Regards,

Mark

Still waiting for my dealership to get allocations so I can order my 992. Getting a manual Carrera S coupe. So excited! Is the Porsche exhaust system for an extra $2900 a definite spec?

I now have my C4S allocation and the order is created. Dealer arrival on MyPorsche is 132 days away!

http://www.porsche-code.com/PMENPJ59

Hardest choices:

(1) I really liked the Chalk White seatbelts to offset the Sports Tex seats but am concerned about keeping them clean and pristine. I have stuck with tye default black seatbelts though still have a little time to the change before freeze date. (Also pondered the green seat belts to go with the aventurine green exterior but the color is different)

(2) Though is super popular I chose not to get the sports exhaust. I like the honesty of form follows function and the Sports exhaust is still really a quad inside so the big oval pipes are kinda cosmetic. I don't care about being any louder than the car currently is so no point in getting it. (And I think the quads look better)

A lot of days to count down though!

I think if I was getting. the S I would have considered not getting PSE but I really did not like the base exhaust and so I would have had to spring for the quads and if springing for the quads I felt that the PSE was only 2K more and I did like the sound a little better with the PSE. Unlike in my 718 where the PSE was a must this is not the case but I am happy I got it.

Same dates but my TYD states at dealer 1/1/21. I am not convinced that will be the case but I live in NJ and it comes to RI and so less distance to sail and then less of a road trip but I am not holding my breath for 1/1/21 - especially as my SA will be too hung over to close the deal on 1/1/21

If you're interested, Mediterranean Highway is close to Emden. Scheduled dock time is 1am local time tonight. "Load Ready" is scheduled for Wednesday 11/11.

My car's been there since 10/30 so I'm hoping to get an early ride home.

My car is going to the Benicia port and is scheduled to leave on 11/27-- is anyone else already at Emden and heading to the west coast?
