Does it matter if it is going to east or west coast? I’m east coast
Yes. East coast vessels off load at Rhode Island, Baltimore, Jacksonville and Houston. West coast cars on a separate vessel that normally does not stop on east coast and transits Panama Canal to California. See post 9336 above.
I know that TYD can be dodgy, but I was still surprised when my “actual” arrival date at Emden slid from April 20 to May 11. Interestingly enough, my SA had sent me screenshots of the dealer system in late April that had also showed me with an actual arrival date at Emden of 4/20. His system is also now changed to 5/11 and he has no explanation.

I heard that sometimes the car needed a part ,so they hold it at emden until they got it before shipping

Same here. My “actual” arrival date in Emden has been April 20 for weeks. This morning my “actual” arrival date at Emden changed to May 10 which happens to also be the date the Siem Aristotle was loaded. Just a wild a$$ guess here but could just be an Emden inventory update as to what vehicles are currently left at Emden after Siem Aristotle loaded. Someone swiped the car sku/upc code or VIN for some reason on May 10. Date of arrival in US and delivery to dealer has not changed. Current “estimated” date of loading remains May 20 which matches the SUNSHINE ACE.

The estimated 5/20 on vessel for those of us routing through Davisville or Baltimore will likely be the Supreme Ace (assuming that doesn’t slide again like my last 2 estimated on vessel dates)
Just to add more confusion to the mix, TYD is still showing my estimated date for On Vessel as 5/20/2022 but it now shows me as assigned to the Siem Aristotle. Obviously, these can’t both be correct since the Aristotle has already left Emden. It is almost as if someone at Porsche is intentionally trying to mess with my emotions.

Hello, I recently spoke with my SA inquiring about a Carrera S cab and he said he'd put me on a list and that I'm a couple years out.
Has this been the initial response from your SA when asking about your 992 S? Are they trying to discourage people who aren't on the list yet, but once they actually put a deposit down and are serious, that 2 years is now mysteriously 1 (give or take)?
I'm considering trading in my 718, but a 2 year wait seems a little much.

Same here again. My TYD now showing my vehicle loaded on the Siem Aristotle with no other dates changed??? Tracking shows vessel underway. Maybe we were loaded on May 10/11 which is why our arrival at Emden dates changed from 4/20 to the more recent dates??? I am hoping!
