I agree with you. I figure that the Cars have to be shipped from Emden by Aug 15th ( West Coast) in order to hit the Sept 27th date. So we will know in 3 weeks if 9/27 is a real date. I think it is just a place holder for now. Like you I am figuring Oct delivery. But no one really knows including Porsche.

 

Odd. I called my dealer yesterday and he said that the release date was September 6.. Guess we'll know soon enough.

 

I ordered about a month ago and have a 11/1 delivery date for C4S

 

I ordered at the end of May. Delivery was initially 9/13...then 10/18...now 10/25.

 

are you guys getting these dates from asking the dealer (againa and again), or is there a portal/site of notification method of tracking my order?

 

I email salesman once/month and he has an immediate answer on the details, including where the vehicle is (at the German port in my case).

 

I have a Track My Dream website that shows exactly where my car is (on a boat off New Jersey coast) with a timeline of milestones. estimated delivery 9/27/2019.

 

My car is scheduled to complete production today (V300). Ordered April 27.

 

For those that are using the “track my dream” weblink and have reached or passed production: out of curiosity, do they send you pictures of your car on production line like Ferrari do?

 

correction - as per my SA, car completed, VIN assigned, car is at Emden!

 

I'm hearing same news as everyone else.. my 992 S Miami Blue was just produced.. waiting to get to Emden.. but all cars
will be sitting a while.. official release now September 27 (but that may change again)..

 

My “expected date for Dealer Inventory” (V900) is September 20.

Congrats to all those who’s car is made and on standby for certification! Mine will be built this week... but picking up at the factory in late October. So waiting regardless!

if anyone hears anything later than sept. 27 please make sure to tell us. I had heard a delay till early October but so far that was more of a rumor, officially it still seems to be the 27.

 

After sitting at Emden, for nearly three months, my Car finally left. The new Dealer inventory date moved back to 9/6. While I’m not sure this is a realistic date, per EPA/CARB approval, it’s a good sign that cars are being shipped to the States.
