The ADM itself isn’t super important to me personally because I’m now top of my dealer’s list for next round of GT allocations and I’ll be paying MSRP. Already have several Porsches, including two GT cars, and no big rush to replace them - I can wait, and will.
Yeah buddy.
Of course you are!

Youre at the TOP of your dealer's list because you havent bought a GT car since 2016.
And .... its gonna be at MSRP too.... because you have such a great "relationship" with your dealer and your dealer has no other REAL clients!

Youre first in line at your imaginary dealer.
Got it.

Nah… it’s interesting in the same way a car wreck on the side of the road is interesting. It’s a big dumpster fire where 2-3 members keep throwing cattle dung at it every day

Okay ADM trolls, you will never see me post here again. I'll ban myself and show myself to the door.

I hope all your dreams come true.

So you like to continuously gawk at car wrecks and dumpster fires? I sure don’t. I did put one person in the thread on ignore to filter out some of the recurring noise.

let me rephrase… it’s like a 991.1’s engine blowing and causing a big dumpster fire. Yes, I would look at that.

Meh, got my engine replaced twice under warranty, and still have two more years of warranty. Never caught fire.

Except it ain’t a track car - it’s a street car that can be tracked, frankly like most Porsches just with more hardcore equipment.

You guys need to stop forcing your values and opinions on others. There are plenty of used GT3s for sale if someone buying a new Touring for 98% street use is bothering you, go buy one.

From my experience on this forum, most guys with GT cars have multiple cars to drive street and track, so a lot of them don’t get driven much. It’s hard to drive 4 cars a lot even if you’re retired. And many own several GT cars. To me that seems to be where the excess demand and ADM is triggered, but you don’t see me flogging others with my myopic opinion.

It’s a marketplace, and a free country. People enjoy cars their own way. We’re all car people, how about we focus on the fact we love P-cars and stop the Twitterlist ?

Try not to be so practical and make so much sense man. That doesn't go over well in this thread.

Bro, you’re too logical and economically sound. This is why the below was my closing position.

The thread is about ADM. Who buys what cars for what purpose, and what they’re willing to pay, influences that. People like rusmani (and me) can’t get the car they want at the price they want to pay because of what other buyers are doing. That’s the collective reality. Not the fault of dealers, and not really even the fault of Porsche since they’re playing the long game and trying to match long-term supply and demand.

Yeah I'd love to have a GT3, but at current prices I'm not as interested, especially since I have a GT4 to enjoy. We'll see how things look over the next several months. I still enjoy seeing all the beautiful GT3/GT3T pics that are posted in this thread! Definitely droolworthy material.

I had a 991.1, sold it hoping for a 992. I could get one financially at MSRP but not at 100k ADM. So after researching, playing the allocation game and still sitting on my "dealer list" because I'm a nobody, I was at least able to secure a new GT4, I wanted to buy new to make it mine. So I went full out on my GT4 with the thought that if I don't ever get a new allocation at MSRP, I can do the 4.5 conversion and make up for the one thing I felt the GT4 lacked when I drove it, some more power. I think a lot of the emotion behind some of the arguing is that people are frustrated at the fact they would love to have a car they could drive while seeing people just hoard all the allocations to either flip, store etc. Now that isn't the fault of the buyer. It's just frustrating that it's more artwork to those people or something to make money on vs a dream goal to obtain for others. The ADM has crushed this along with how the more wealthy that have bought more cars get the priority allocation.
