Fair, I guess. But there are threads on RL discussing that very comparison, for 991 and 992. So not as rare as you might think. People do debate it. But of course not the topic at hand.

All in good fun. Happy driving, even if you all have a base Macan. As an aside it is fun with the banter. It’s fun getting you experts all riled up.

Man alive. I think you may be a bit angry here. Go for a drive and relax.

ADM's on GT3/GT3T/3RS/GT4/4RS/Spyder are increasing from what I am seeing. Just to get a used 992 GT3 we have to pay $40-50k over.

And you have no motivation to say that in this forum ...

There have been a TON of posters here that have been in denial for months.
They dont want to accept reality.

It's also interesting to note that Porsche just raiseed the price of a GT3 by $13,000 and all of the ADM bashers have disappeared.
Crickets.

I've seen it all. MSRP, $20-150k over, Flippers, etc. Just giving my feedback. Naturally people paying all the overages usually don't visit the forums, they just want a car. I think the car that has leveled the most though is a Turbo S. Targa still strong in any variant.

If I figure in the watch at $12k and avoiding the $13k price increase, I paid 20 over. I feel a lot better now.

Just for Cars and Coffee.
In all seriousness, I believe they have to be in the office 3 days a week and 2 can be from home.

Someone has to keep the Google cafeteria open and relevant.

It's already built out, so you can't just shut it down overnight.

I work in the tech world (SaaS Business Software Company) - although I have stayed in So Cal. Google is building out the Westside Pavilion (an ex-mall) that they're converting to 600K+ square feet of office space ~1 mile from my office. So if they ever finish that project - they better have a policy for people to go in else they'll look like idiots. Also that may help the value of my primary house.

We are seeing people who live <45 minutes away are going to need to be in 2-3 days per week. At 3 they consider you - an in office person vs remote.

As far as ADM's - they aint going away. There was one chart on this thread that highlighted the issue succinctly. The # of people that make a lot of money has gone up significantly since 2001 as a % of the total population. So unless there is a systemic global crisis / contagion / black swan event (2023 is not 2008 IMHO) there are just too many rich / wealthy people that want GT3's. A 10-20% drop in an elevated stock market is irrelevant to these people. Even though I don't have one (a GT3) - I get it re the desirability. Quite honestly what are you going to do with 800HP TT and Electric cars. At some point the power is pointless. I have 765HP in my TT - My TT almost now has too much power and even though i love it and I last minute changed to get one vs a GT3 - I would like to add a GT3. I just struggle with where do i put it physically. I did love my Perf although I am not into attention and such a low car for LA. There is something about an NA car. For the fun factor - that is.

OT - I did add a BMW iX yesterday as we want a Electric SUV - its actually pretty dang good for a luxury SUV and cruiser. 500HP+ and really quick off the line, 315 miles of range etc. But i immediately gave it to my wife. I'm keeping my Land Rover Defender.

Not sure about that. Looks like a modest growth at best among the top 5%.

If we're gonna be honest about these cars, 992 GT3 is also overkill for the road and needs to be on track to appreciate the car in its sweet spot. Aero doesn't do much if you're not near the limit of grip. Cars that are most compatible with road enjoyment tend to be older cars that are smaller, less technology, less power, all-season tires with modest grip. But somehow a lot of people think newer, wider, grippier, faster on track must be better for fun on the road. At least with the high power/torque cars like TT/S and electrics, you can blast it in short segments between turns where it's safe to do so.
