The problem with this thread is that it keeps people who actually pay the ADM to post. They don’t want to be shamed. The thread really should be for people to get a sense of what the market is asking for right now. I’m not faulting people for speculating on the direction of the market, but making global judgements about others who just want information really kills the value of this thread. I really want to know.. what people are actually paying… NOT what people say their dealers are offering etc as this is often not the same.
Information and transparency is really the most important thing here - and that’s how you level the playing field more with various dealers. I would hope this thread promotes transparency instead of punishing it because it doesn’t fit someone’s view of ADMs and the market.
Look - I made a conscious decision to not get a GT3/RS as the ADMs up until last month were super high. That and I would rather spend money on real market value cars that I know will be valuable in 5 years. Hence, I bought a 1995 Honda NSX-R RHD/JDM with 25kmiles… and sold my 991.2 Touring for more than I paid for it. I actually haven’t ever paid an ADM on any of my Porsches, but I’m not saying I won’t pay a small ADM at some point - the value of being able to spec your own car is high. It just depends on the situation globally and personally.
How much was the type R? Japanese dealer asked 500k for a low mileage example. Congrats on type R. Definitely the last true NSX not the hybrid crap they made.
Do we know if dealerships get kickbacks (or “incentives”) from PNA when they sell cars this month, or before end of the year?
sales staff gets comped based on monthly sales every month, so they’re always eager to book sales before the 1st. I’ve seen some wild (but lawful) paperwork to smooth over things in flight (title transfers, wire transfers, etc) before they settle so the sale can be booked even if the car is “delivered” and not delivered.
I have no idea if PNA or PAG are running any unusual incentives for this month. Corporate doesn’t always have the most linear of motivations. For example, Lambo has sold so many cars in 2022 that they’ve halted delivery to dealers until January so they can book all that revenue in 2023. Allegedly. Lambo is sold out for the next 2 years. There are no “deals” for new supercars even after the recent economic chaos. My Porsche dealer has said basically no one is canceling orders for Porsches either.
to each their own but I would have to disagree. I think the yellow looks just fine. @mooty has one of my fav gt3’s on here. I went for a classy touring look but if I went wingy it would be something bright like orange or yellow.
🥱 for the 17th time I don’t care what happens to the market. I buy cars to drive. 4500 smiles and counting.
he’s not in the market. He’s a troll looking for someone to talk to. He even set up another account (thecutter64). So be weary cuz they’re the same person.
Ignore him. His only achievement in his life is buying a gt3 with ADM.
You throw a lot of shade for a poster who made up stories about owning an RS.. 997 forum guys can chime in here.
You said the GT3/RS were ugly on FCHAT, when you were talking about buying your Ferrari..
You shouldn't mock ppl for paying ADM's when you're living vicariously through them... Give it a rest kid.

Ill say it again. Ferraris are more beautiful than 911. Better line. Still ended up getting gt3 because its a better car.
I'd love to see all these keyboard warriors actually post a single picture of the car they own. Would probably weed out a lot of the nonsense in here. Got guys saying they wouldn't even buy a 992 GT3 at MSRP - what in the world are you doing in this thread then? Nothing productive, just talking crap and ruining any meaningful conversation.
Attached pic of my GT4 after PPF to put my money where my mouth is.

it’s unfortunate, yes, but in reality it’s only about 2-3 people here that keep repeating nonsense. Any teenager can create an account and post crap.
