How much would you guys lowball dealers? 40k? 60k?

 

Try 40 and likely get laughed at. 60 will probably get you one or at least open the door to a serious convo.

This is a really nicely spec'd car. One thing that is interesting is how much cheaper the 2022s are out of the box MSRP vs 2023s when you start adding up the option inflation.
So you can pick up that 'discount' by going the BAT route.

 

The last car to be sold on BAT is actually below, only 353 miles. It sold for $55K over...on 12/9,

The last data point for PCar market is this one which did not meet reserve at $250K...seller says reserve was set to $255K.

Also there was a red 6-speed 2022 with 1,000 miles that was listed at $249K for a couple of weeks, looks like it was removed so assuming it sold for $249K or below in the past day.

 

Wing cars with sofa seats don’t fair to well for big premiums. No wing is still the hot I must have it and don’t know why, and my car looks like a regular 911. Oh sorry I like to be under the radar.

 

My build for a brand new 992 GT3 with full warranty is about $182k, so paying over $200k for the car with reduced warranty will never interest me.

It’s all about $ micromanagement. We had a restaurant discussion on another thread. He’ll order the chicken to save $6, even though he went through the effort of going to the restaurant, and really wants seafood.

 

Yeah, it's all same, spending a little more at a restaurant, spending an extra $50-100k on a car because demand temporarily exceeds supply. It's only money, buy what you want regardless of the value.
