Not sure of the cost, the garage was like this when we bought the house. This thread has some amazing garages:

All of the bs and hype associated with getting a Porsche made me spend more time in the BMW showroom, resulting in my bring this home today. Fun car, very fast, cool tech, I love the aesthetic (all of my other cars are understated colors). I plan to track it.

These cars are so much better track cars than the e46 and e92, I literally had a e46 comp up until maybe year and a half a year ago. The F82 is just better in every imaginable way except that really fun steering rack they had. But the e46 is literally the same weight as an F82 on a footprint that is maybe 2/3 the size, It is far from light on its feet and the chassis is just so bad for todays standards. Feels like a noodle

The e92 I don't know for the life of me other than the sound why anyone cares for it. I have driven maybe 7 or so, and everytime just shocked at how it drives like a boat, steers like a boat, brakes like a boat and it is not fast really at all. But DAMN does it sound GREAT!!!

F82 is the best all around DD/track car hybrid I have ever had. Gym, airport runs, groceries, tahoe, 4 people packed, road trips, and can rip tracks and keep up with most everything people bring to the track and all it needs is aftermarket pads.

Also ran a 158.8 at buttonwillow 13 CW Wednesday with stock GT4 manual on dunlops with a passenger in the car. Not bad for first time out with the car there and en extra 200 pounds in the other seat

I'm excited about the M4 and, after a decade of tracking Porsches, I'm looking forward to tracking a BMW. Best I can tell, it's not a lot heavier than 992 C2S. Which tires and pads did you use? Any overheating issues?

I didn't trade in my E93 M3 DCT, will just keep it as a fun convertible. I absolutely love the drivetrain - engine sounds fantastic and is super linear (sounds even better with the top down), right amount of power for the road, DCT shifts very fast and makes great blips, and the gearing perfectly suits the engine. The car also feels reasonably small - considerably smaller than the M4 despite not handling as well and being heavier. And the hydraulic steering feels more 'alive'. So I totally get the appeal of the E9X M3 for the road, and may pick up a coupe if prices tank next year.

my e92 manual m3 is probably my favorite car I’ve ever owned. I have no idea why. Every time I get in it my heart races and time just disappears.

I don’t disagree with the qualities of the e46 M3… but the M2 is also a pretty fun platform.

If you believe this guy, the world is about to crater around 992 GT3 values.

Ok, maybe not crater, but you get the point.

Just spoke to South Bay, who other rennlisters have said have been able to get cars around MSRP in a downturn, the individual I spoke to claimed all of their GT3s sell for $125K-$150K over and they sell immediately, lmao, yet the car I called in about has been listed over 100 days. I understand the dealers who are trying to make the most of what they have, but to straight up lie and make up numbers is really a sad state to be in. These are the types of guys I hope really feel a downturn, grimiest of grimy

RL isn’t the market. Plenty of money floating around. These cars are special and near the end of an era… good for those that go get what they’ve worked hard for instead of trying to time it perfectly

Default No ADM dealers playing ADM games with "used" cars

Why do this nonsense? Just sell at ADM and spare me the theatrics. Listed under USED cars

I think they are doing this for two reasons, it gives them the ability to certify the car so that it can be sold with a longer warranty therefore making it more valuable and it also allows them to post their asking price publicly and avoid all of the calls when they are forced to list at MSRP. Porsche has recommended dealers list cars at MSRP if new and listing publicly, they don't have to sell at MSRP, but it has been recommended they do not show a price above MSRP on a new car. Once the car is considered used they are free to list the specific asking price instead of just MSRP or MSRP + ADM etc.

I offered to sell him some cars, if he is able to get $125K-$150K for a standard PDK GT3 seemingly easily then he should be happy to buy at $60-$75K over, which I can find all day. I still don't think he realized how stupid he sounded.

Do people really cross shop a GT3 and an M4? Comparing base prices alone, isn’t the GT3 2x?

What makes you think we've worked hard?
