Love how the big ADM payers here just use the excuse "IT'S JUST A NUMBER!!!" Hey guys, why not just write PCNA a 10k donation and christmas card telling them how grateful you are to had gotten an allocation for only 100k over sticker from a stealer...

I mean 100k, 110k, 330k otd vs. 340k out the door?

what's the difference it's just a number??? might as well, and if you can't or disagree with this you can't afford it and should be banished from even talking about 992 GT3's, get out of the way and let the real rich people buy the toys before time is up.

Buy now or be priced out forever! And anyone who doesn't like ADMs is a poor whiny poser who can't afford a GT3 in the first place. haha

Exactly.

I've seen these guys before all over Yahoo Finance message boards and various stock market "blogs" like Seeking Alpha.
It's the Internet, so they have instant "credibility".

These are the "fair-value" guys that spend all of their time "talking" and never actually doing anything.
They talk more than they trade. They have nothing of value to contribute, because every one of their posts is REPEATING the same thing about "value".
Like I said, one guy here has posted in this thread the SAME stuff over 90X since November 1st.

It's how they validate themselves.

I don't think anyone likes ADM. You just need to be realistic about getting a GT3 in this current landscape, which I think some folks in here are not. If you have a great relationship with a dealer and have bought a lot of cars, done trade ins, etc, then yes you should expect MSRP and be upset if they try to give you the run around. If you're a first time buyer or a low man on the totem pole, then pay market value or be prepared to wait.

Also, if I recall correctly, you paid 50k ADM on your 991.1 GT3RS, so you paid your dues to the "stealership" to get things rolling. Seems like you've been a good customer and kept purchasing, financing through them, getting PPF, trading back, etc to get more allocations at MSRP. So you have essentially paid ADM up front and are paying for extra services to keep getting allocations at MSRP. Good for you, and I'm jealous. You got in at the right time. Maybe others are proud of their ADM or want to defend it. I have no interest in doing that, but you better believe I'm going to acknowledge it exists and is a necessary evil for many folks to get a GT3 anytime soon.

It’s the current environment. Figure it out, pay up if you have to and enjoy your car. Satisfaction is priceless… or…. continue to whine and lose out.. Life is short. I don’t see many people analyzing the cost of ownership/resale vrs. ADM. There is a 2018 GT3 on BAT with 15K fun miles on it . The first day it was listed, bid at original MSRP. Or, should I spend the extra $8 for the Black Cod, or save and get the Flounder? Lots of “platinum caskets” on the way…..

I understand that first time buyers need to pay their dues but like I mentioned before there are adms and then there are ADMs. The $50k over that I paid for my 991.1 GT3RS was through a broker so I didn't get any benefits from the dealer where the car came from. This was after I went to several SoCal dealers and the Vegas dealer telling them that I was open to paying a reasonable ADM to start the relationship and that I'd be looking to buy Macans/Cayennes every 12-18 months but all I got was crickets hence why I went through a broker. I know by the end of the run allocations were out there for $20k-$25k. I did use that 991.1 GT3RS on a 3-car transaction with my dealer to start my relationship with them back in 2017. Given the economic headwinds in front of us (yes, I realize that there are supply constraints is this limiting supply to some extent) and the fact that the used car market is cooling considerably it's just not smart to pay big ADMs on new or slightly used GT cars. If people would refuse to pay the big ADMs they would go away.

We all need some perspective. Not being able to get the high end Porsche you want, when you want it, at a price you want to pay, should never be called a ‘problem’.

Why can’t they call it a problem? I don’t think anyone here is unaware of the different problems others have.

Looks like the black touring PDK at South Bay was sold after reducing the price to $85K over, unsure what it sold for, assuming <=+$85K over. I've noticed a few touring PDK cars sell fairly quickly once they come down to $70-80K+ if new, this is still a really strong market for tourings. Touring PDKs selling $70-85K+, 6-speed get at least the same or more, winged cars can be had for $50K it seems. This black touring PDK is probably one of the rarest combinations you can get if looking at the production statistics for 2022, but not sure if rare means it will be desirable later on. Below is what I believe current ADM to be based on sold cars.

6-Speed Touring ($75$-90K+)
PDK Touring ($65-$85K)
6 Speed Wing - $55K+
PDK Wing - $45K-$55K
