Thanks all. I placed the order end of Jan and have been more than happy to wait since then, but the last 6 weeks are proving painful.

Ok, I just took delivery of my 99.2 Targa 4S. I purchased the clear LED side markers from Suncoast. Dealer told me he would install at N/C for me. When I went to pick up my tags and get new markers installed the salesman informed me that because they are LED, there is a chance of them messing with the PCM, getting fault codes and making me responsible if anything happens. He said if I would replace those lights with regular bulb lights there would not be an issue. I looked at my current OEM orange markets and LOOK LIKE LED's!!! Does anyone know if the new 991.2 have stock LED side markers??

The LEDones will work just fine. They just don't want to install parts that you didn't buy from them. I got ripped off on mine, but the dealer installed them for free. You could put them in yourself easily.

I ordered my Carrera S from Jack Daniels mid April 2016 and picked it up July 11, 2016.

Initially dealer told me i would have it by late August.

i was skeptical about ordering, did it for a M3 and a couple Corvettes and always turned into a 6 month or more wait.

Well today is my day! Clear bra is installed and picking up my new S at 5pm. Of course the tint guy was not able to do my tint so ill have to bring the car back next week. I was told i could pick up today or wait till next week to pick it up when the tint was completed. NOT AN OPTION picking up today!! Will post pics later...

I looked at the amber side markers that I took off, and they are a sealed unit - no access to a bulb, so they must be LED's. The clear LED's that I replaced them with work fine, no issues.
