Besides, Silver over red is really classic!
That was my initial worry too when I saw the previous all red interiors, but the bordeaux/black combo is quite nice. The bordeaux is a deep enough color that it isn't overwhelming at all. Enjoy.

So 7 weeks almost to the day since Werk drop-off I hope finally to exit the waiting room.

Cool My NEW Ride!!!

Just took delivery of my 991.2 Turbo. I put over 300 Km on it in 2 days!! These photos were taken during the dealer's PDI. Loving it...

My Targa is on the same boat. It arrives in San Diego this Thursday the 21st at 1:00PM. As you may know these boats carry many cars and it is highly unlikely that our cars will leave the PDI facility at the port before the end of the month.

Your August 5 date is optimistic. I live in San Diego and they are showing my car to the dealer around August 5th. I hope I am wrong.

Nick--Thanks for the enthusiasm damper!
Port Hueneme is north of LA, in Oxnard. When I sold M-Bs, it would typically take one to two weeks after arriving in port (SF) for the cars to arrive at the dealer in SLC. I haven't a clue what Porsche's process is like. I'm figuring on the week after to pick it up. But if it takes an extra week, that's okay too. My wait hasn't been that long. I fell into an extra allocation, late May, where Porsche extended the order deadline by a few days. I'd been building a car for weeks prior to that, so I had my build ready to go. I'm getting all the little extras ordered for the car now so they're here when it arrives. I also need to get my clearbra install lined up.

Default Delivery of Lava

OK, after nearly 7 weeks after ED I recovered my 911 CS today - so I can exit the 'Waiting Room" - which is both a good and bad thing. 'Rocky Horror's'' Dr. Frank-N-Furter said it best about "anticipation"

To all on this thread: have a great anticipation

I ordered a GR C2S with the same rims, glass sunroof, black leather interior, and some deviated stitching. Glad to see it looking so great in your photos!

It's a beauty. Lava Orange, right? I guess I should be glad to see you go. Enjoy!

Yep! When I picked it up was the only Lava they had in the entire lot, as all their LO RSs are gone. I'll check in here just to see how others fare

Thx. I'm sure you'll love it. While some purists don't like the extra weight of the roof w/ glass I can't imagine living w/out it, esp in a hot part of the States. And there's something cheery about letting some light in too, on a cold, crisp winter's day drive.

Cool! Me too, next week (XPel). I got sick of the many pit marks in the front end of my cars (which were black or blue-black metallic). Thank you mate and pls post some photos post wrap
