Hi Vivek--thanks for the note and the pics--you took very good shots of the details, and I like the look and color combination. I was worried that it would be a bit too much (like the all-red interior, especially last year's red), but it looks great in your pics--and there was no other good lighter interior color for silver. Besides, Silver over red is really classic!

Hah hah! The photo was taken in Berlin's Ritz-Carlton's u/g parking. For some reason on Mon AM a ton of people emptied out, but yes, I did try to park away from others.
So 7 weeks almost to the day since Werk drop-off I hope finally to exit the waiting room.

Your August 5 date is optimistic. I live in San Diego and they are showing my car to the dealer around August 5th. I hope I am wrong.

Nick--Thanks for the enthusiasm damper!
Port Hueneme is north of LA, in Oxnard. When I sold M-Bs, it would typically take one to two weeks after arriving in port (SF) for the cars to arrive at the dealer in SLC. I haven't a clue what Porsche's process is like. I'm figuring on the week after to pick it up. But if it takes an extra week, that's okay too. My wait hasn't been that long. I fell into an extra allocation, late May, where Porsche extended the order deadline by a few days. I'd been building a car for weeks prior to that, so I had my build ready to go. I'm getting all the little extras ordered for the car now so they're here when it arrives. I also need to get my clearbra install lined up.

OK, after nearly 7 weeks after ED I recovered my 911 CS today - so I can exit the 'Waiting Room" - which is both a good and bad thing. 'Rocky Horror's'' Dr. Frank-N-Furter said it best about "anticipation"
To all on this thread: have a great anticipation

Thx. I'm sure you'll love it. While some purists don't like the extra weight of the roof w/ glass I can't imagine living w/out it, esp in a hot part of the States. And there's something cheery about letting some light in too, on a cold, crisp winter's day drive.

Cool! Me too, next week (XPel). I got sick of the many pit marks in the front end of my cars (which were black or blue-black metallic). Thank you mate and pls post some photos post wrap
