What a beautiful car. And agreed! When I bought my first 911--a C4--a friend said how he was impressed by C4s because everyone who drove one that he had seen on the road had a big smile on his or her face. And as 917K said, "We are fortunate even to consider such beautiful cars" (sorry for the imprecision of the quotation, but I had copied it and then the reply quotation marks replaced the original quote).

I was told there wouldn't be any more build slots for anything until next year. I suppose I will think of this as just informational. This is my first post. My first Porsche was a 1975 914. At that time the 914 was not excepted in the Porsche world and I did get a lot of flak. I had a 1978 924 and the reception was no better. I will say that the 924 was not a very good build. Now its time to join the big boys with my purchase. In between were slk's and a Corvette. I wasn't even thinking of a 4 but the idea caught my Wife's eye after building the 911. I didn't object. Do I look stupid. Build # PHD72H43
Hello Ronglos--I, too, had a 914--a 1974 914/2.0 (Alaska Blue), so I know the feeling. I had it until 1982. My next Porsche was/is a 2001 996 C4 (silver over gray), and I just put in an order for a new C4S (silver over red, PDK, etc.). In between, we had Acura Integras, among other cars (some sadly mediocre). You had very nice in-between cars, and your new white 911 PDK looks very nice! Congrats!

I was just told me Targa is due to arrive in Halifax in early August. Any idea what boat? And how long does it take to get the car from Halifax to Toronto, and then ready for delivery? I'm guessing I won't see the Targa until late August?

Dropped off my GT4 at the dealer for shipment to my buyer. I ran the sale through them in order to save sales tax. In Utah we only pay sales tax on the difference.
My C4S got to port on the 25th and today they told me the car is on a truck heading to SLC!
Could be there in the next day or two but definitely by the first of next week. First ETA from Porsche was Aug 28, then a few weeks ago they told me Aug 5 and now it looks like it will beat that estimate.
Pictures soon.

You can't tease us with a pic without specs. Please share the specs. BTW: Congratulations, looks awesome.

Ask and ye shall receive...
PDK
Sport Chrono
Sport Exhaust
MF wheel
LCA
Steel sunroof
Bose
Premium plus pkg. w/ 14 way seats

The jury is still out on the PDK, I'm going to have to learn to love it, but after two days of driving, I wouldn't change anything else. This car is so different from my 997! I will post some 997.1 to 991.2 thoughts after more seat time.

Quick update and thoughts:

Took delivery on July 22nd and had Suntek installed on front bumper, headlights, full hood, fenders and mirrors. Went Suntek over XPel Ultimate for clarity/aesthetics and because I don't plan on tracking the car.

Still learning the car and tech, but I can tell you that coming from another turbo car (F10 M5 comp pack), the power delivery is much more linear in the 991.2 C2S. Apple Car Play is cool, but back-up camera is the M5 is better hands down.

Drove Hwy 23 from Westlake Village to Neptune's Net on PCH with some friends yesterday (991 GT3 and Cayman S pictured below) and had a blast.

I'm still debating suntek vs xpel. The local guy I trust does suntek, but I can get xpel in Germany during European delivery...
