Thoughts on PDCC for a TT? I've heard it's not for everyone, but I hear more positive than negative. I'm a bit concerned about an artificial feel due to a delay, but I go for track performance most of the time.
(I plan to drive a car with and without if possible)

I sold the Cayman yesterday to a dealer (who gave me £6000 more than Porsche UK offered me in part-exchange) so 3 weeks sans car for me until the new Targa arrives.

I have it and have not noticed any artificial feel or any delay.

Burning Brakes
Only driven manuals for last 17 years (which is slightly less than half my life) so as great as PDK is, it's just not an option for me.
My dealership isn't thrilled with my choice of transmission. They have a brand new manual 2016 C2S still sitting on the lot. Doesn't help that it's yellow and they picked some odd options. Overall it's a very sport build but they included power steering plus (on a manual...huh? ) and did the 14 way seats instead of the 4 way or 18 way sport seats.
They let me test drive it because they thought I would hate the 7 speed coming from my GT4. Test drive confirmed my choice, manual all the way! It's no GT4 shifter, but there is nothing wrong with it at all. I can put the short shift kit in if I think it needs it.
After that I drove a 991.2 C4S PDK. Loved the turbo torque down low, didn't sound as great as the 3.8L but we all already know that. It still sounded good and perhaps headers and high flow cats will sound better (plus unlock even more power). Biggest issue with the 991.2 wasn't the turbos or the exhaust noise, it was the PDK.
Don't get me wrong, PDK is the best "automatic" or dual clutch gearbox out there if that's what you want it is amazing! I'm just not wired for that after all these years and certainly not when in a Porsche or performance car. Would be nice for the few times I find myself stuck in traffic, but 99% of the time I'd rather have the stick. I get that "anyone" can drive a PDK/automatic which makes it much more easy to sell down the line, but I'm not buying it for the next guy...

Thanks for the feedback! I've included it in the order. Can't wait.
I'll be hanging around here longer than a lot of folks that are ordering a new car this season. Pro tip for those who actually want to take delivery: don't change your order to another model right before it locks!!
But honestly, I went from very happy with the C2S to giddy like a little kid with the TT, so I think I made the right choice for me. And while I wait, the 3D configurator is pretty neat, and I enjoy wasting some time fiddling with it... We have a nearby race/service/sales shop that plays old top gear reruns in the waiting room, makes me think of that...
Since I changed to the TT, Strong Porsche in Salt Lake City, UT now has a configurable C2S allocation that may still be open. If anyone is hunting for a new one in Utah or in the west, it may be another place to check into.

Update on my config.
After some soul searching about what would really make me happy, I decided not to compromise on the color of the C4S PDK on order. Opted to go with Sapphire Blue Metallic over Black with deviated stitching in Pebble Gray and with brushed aluminum trim.
Options are mostly the same as I had posted earlier, as follows. It's taken a while for me to dial in this config, but I think it's looking pretty good!
Thanks to this forum, I've got the clear LED side markers on order, as well. Looking forward to this Christmas!
