HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
Drifting
wow, this is the highest optioned .1 GTS I have ever seen.... $169k sticker. Porsche Warrington asking $150k, 20k miles 7MT. https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...9860/overview/
Apparently so did whoever reserved it - assuming it wasn't you. Generally speaking, CARMAX seems to have the best pricing on 991s, so when a car gets posted on their site, it's usually gone within an hour. Their 7-day return policy makes it relatively easy to reserve one as soon as it appears, hopefully spend no more than a couple hundred bucks on shipping, then have a PPI and return it if the car doesn't meet your expectations.

But the Turbo S will have to wait till the market returns to normal. Last Summer I found the ideal 2019 911 Turbo S that had all the right options for incl AeroKit in Black. It was offered CPO with 7k miles for $48k below MSRP. But the market was already starting to jump. I got into that dealer to talk trade, they told me the price had jumped $15k and low balled their trade offer. They said they price to the market daily. This month I found an almost duplicate 2019 Turbo S at a nearby dealer and they want $10k below MSRP for one that is a year older now. Hmm. Id hate to see the ADMs on new ones right now.
So to hold me over, I bought a 2015 Macan Turbo for a daily driver, and car meets when its raining. While installing new PS S4s last month, I also installed Hawk ceramic pads from Tire Rack. They help, but not as much as PCCBs. Not much track use for me, so ceramics would be perfect for that zero brake dust utopia.

You cannot list here unless you are a member, but you can try 6speedonline.
I am not sure the bearing of the stop sale on private party sales or non-Porsche dealer sales - if any.
If you don't want to sell it private party, why not sell it to one of the many Porsche resellers? Ryan Friedman, Grand Prix, UDrive, etc.

Does not seem like a bad offer. May I ask at what auto nation/ region you got this offer from?

And a few more..
The business model seems to be finding good cars direct from owners (or various other sources), paying a fair price, and then listing the car for a 15-20K premium over wholesale and waiting for the right buyer. Without a doubt they have some nice cars on offer.
I have no affiliation besides having sold a few Porsches to these kind of dealers. They pay in between Carmax and retail. I value smooth transactions over maximum dollar, so it's worked for me.
