What were the 991.1CS prices before they blew up? I vaguely remember 60-70k for 2014-15s or so. Does that sound about right to you guys?

Generally, it was about half the MSRP for 50k mile MT Carreras as far as I remember.

Just one case I know - 991 4S MT, Sport Chrono, BOSE etc. MSRP $127,690.00

https://vinanalytics.com/car/WP0AB2A99DS121420/

It was sold for $78k as a CPO car by Porsche Tacoma in December 2019 with around 35k miles.

Nowadays, I saw similar CPO examples from official Porsche dealers for around $85k minimum. Usually in 90s..

Yeah closer to 70K, non-S was about 10K cheaper. Specifically talking manual. PDK a bit less.

$69.3K with fee.

That seems like a steal these days. Hopefully things are able to stabilize sooner rather than later, I want to add a .1 or .2 C2S to the garage but not for 90k+

Got this DME report from a very nicely-specced 991.1 MT that was CPOd just 1500 miles back and now has around 12k miles. (Sorry for the picture quality - the best I got from the seller.)

Does anyone know if range 4 over revs affect CPO warranty? In general, I assume ranges 1-3 are fine but range 4 not much?

My understanding is =< 3 is fine, as '3' is hitting the rev limiter. Time in four or above indicates a money shift. For the 911s I've owned, I've had hours in 1,2, and 3 but always zero four and above.
Looks like this car had a single mistake shift relatively early on in its life, at exactly 319.28hrs ago, out of a total runtime of 425.00 hrs.
As a result, I would have some concerns the car was driven hard, or if not hard, at least by an inexperienced driver early on during the 2,000 mile break-in period - where you are supposed to keep revs varied and avoid getting near redline. As a result this would not be a car I would keep outside of the CPO warranty period.

My local dealer took in a 50th Anniversary on trade that I was interested in. The car had 25k miles and a similar DME report. They said they were not able to CPO it because of the DME and I chose to pass on it.

Can someone clarify this for me: the DME says the incident occurred at 319.28 out of 425. Does that say it occurred 105 hours ago or 295 hours ago? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the answers!

And yes, it was ~100 hours ago (out of 425 hours with 12,000 miles currently) so it was not during break-in period but obviously still not good.

The question still remains whether this incident voids/affects CPO (should one bring it to a dealer for repairs and they do DME scan).

@grigory — It is my understanding that over revs in 4 will not void existing CPO warranty. Just prevent a dealership issuing a CPO warranty for a car that is being sold (with some known exceptions that have been approved for CPO with over revs in 4).

$127,500 with the buyer's commission. Sold over msrp. Tough one to find there with low miles.

I thought it was hours elapsed since occurrence but I stand corrected. But then, on the flip side, you would want more hours to have elapsed from the event to rule out issues.

I'm a little confused regarding your CPO question. You said the car was just CPOed within the last 1500 miles. Porsche would have been aware of the over-revs at that time but still CPOed it, right?

Okay, so I'm hesitant to post this because there's a non-zero chance I try to get this car even though it's $10k above by budget, but it's the very definition of "fully loaded."

https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...=myATCsavedcar

Can someone confirm for me that his price isn't that insane, even in this crazy market, for a 24k-mile loaded C4S with PCCB, Burmester, Natural Leather and 18-way seats? What's the long term value of these rare-in-combination options?

What would this kind of car sell for before the last year+ of price spikes?

Maybe this BaT result should tell me to run to this guy with my money - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-911-4s-991-1/
