I am seriously considering this one as it's local to me and just about the lowest current CPO price for an S. Asking is $66k, 46k miles. Service record seems pretty solid. Three owners, all seemed to have serviced at their respective local Porsche dealer in California. Personally, it's an S, a cab, PDK and has Sport Chrono which basically gets me almost all the way there on options.

why not? It’s CPO? Man that’s not bad even at those miles
It’s a Porsche dealer, haven’t called yet, and I thought the same thing about the stop sale. But if they’ll sell it to me...
Oh, if they'll sell it to you go for it! Just wanted to make sure you were aware so you weren't disappointed if they say, "It's listed for sale, but we can't sell it to you right now."
I haven't tracked the 991 market recently. What's a good % of original MSRP target for used? That's how I evaluate most of my used purchases. For example, I am looking at a 991.2 Carrera S 25xxx miles CPO. has an original MSRP $128k / Dealer ask $100k = 78% Seems too high to me.
A lot of the Porsche dealer CPO 991.2 units seem to be at 75%+ of original MSRP ASK. Is this a byproduct of the hot used market we are in now?
A comment above mentioned its a sellers market. Maybe it's not the time to jump in since I already have a 911.
I'm just waiting it out. Let all the guys with the extra covid cash and who don't care about the inflated prices take what they want.. then step in when prices get more reasonable. IMO $55-60K for a mid mileage 991.1 is ridiculous. If you KBB the same car it will literally be $8-10k less than asking. Sellers are just taking advantage of the moment. If you pay asking prices now, you're almost definitely going to get hammered on resale (to the tune of $10-15K) when prices have long since stabilized in a few years and you want that next 911.
I would never buy a car that has put a lot miles on it in and around NYC Metro area. Roads are terrible, too many cars and too many people around them at all times. NYC Metro cars with higher miles are typically worn in comparison to other areas.
I was on a road trip coming through Raleigh so figured I’d take 15 minutes out of my day and stop by to see this car. Excellent condition inside and out, beautiful interior that showed very little wear, but mechanically speaking it appears to be a disaster. The radiators were in need of help, rear brake pads were almost to the metal, and the calipers looked dreadful from the snow and salt. I can’t imagine what the car would look like on a lift.
They started at $80k then went to $78, then $73 and are now at $70. I told them with the current condition I’d only bother spending the money on a PPI if they guaranteed me in advance that they’d reduce the price by whatever the PPI estimate was, and they politely declined that offer.
Unless I had before and after pictures of repair including receipts from the body shop, hard pass on a wrecked 911. Looks nice though, perhaps previous owner is here or you can find him from accident report.

Caliper finish is awful, maybe salt? Rotors look like they have a nice lip on them. Yes, a PPI would be necessary for me. NYC Metro driven car for sure.
