HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991

Remove the back seats bottoms and backs, gives you a few extra inches of clearance to put the seat in place, plus you don't have to worry about imprints or damage from your car seat. Takes maybe ~15-20 mins to remove, and you can easily put back a few years later when they are older.

I’ve been Porsche-less for a while now.
This seems well priced to me. What do you think?

I am new to Rennlist and have been without a 911 for a few years now. Last experience was a 2008 997.1 cab.
For some reason, I want a Targa. I found this one in Boca, but it has been on the lot for 4.5 months at an independent dealer. Dark Blue with with two tone tan/black.

Any thoughts on why it has sat for so long?

I know I am biased but you would love it - hardly anyone with one regretted their purchase. If you like the colors and 14 ways (vice 18 ways) are ok with you make them an offer. Sometimes people are reluctant to spend $100k plus for a Porsche at a non-Porsche dealer. If it checks out you will be fine.
100% it needs an inspection. I have not met many independent dealers that I would trust as far as I could throw them.
Do you have any thoughts on offer price point? Seems like something between 95k-100k should do it, but I can't find that this car or one like it moved through Manheim recently on MMR.

Nice looking car. Might be lacking some options people are looking for. Seen a carfax?

Is this information that's just regurgitated over and over or is there any proof to this?
I keep seeing "cabs sell for much less than coupes" "cabs are slow sellers" yet since starting to look for cabs only I don't see this to be true in any way.

Thats a classy color combo on a beautiful car.
911s are scarce generally, targas more so if not the most. I recall reading somewhere that there are even fewer targas produced than turbos. I would guess that there are more coupes produced than convertibles.
The Coupe versus convertible debate is as old as time. Purchase whatever you prefer for whatever your reasons are and you're right!

Of course it might be not a big deal if the damage was all cosmetic, but either way it does bring the price down. I wouldn't consider this HFS at this price considering the damage
