you mentioned mechanically it is a disaster, did you drive the car or is that your impression from the general condition of the radiator, rotors and brakes on the 2015 Targa in North Carolina?

That was my general impression given what those visible components looked like, and it also sounded like the exhaust was going to fall off (there was some metallic rattle coming from the rear). I never got to the PPI state because they were unwilling to lower the price from where it was (and still is) and didn’t even bother to counter offer.

I think if you offered $75k and got it for $77k-ish it would be a great deal.

He just dropped it from $83k I think, maybe $82k.

I agree $77k would be perfect but I would pay what he's asking if it's what you are looking for. Manual, SC, exhaust, good color, it's got a lot going for it.

That color looks pretty good, finally not something in the boring black/silver/white category. I'd buy it, too (if it was a 991.1 and 20k cheaper )

I will... Never bought a car from across the country sight unseen, so that will be an adventure (if the seller responds...!)

I think the purchase would deserve a new thread. I would be really interested how something like this goes. Especially that it's a private party. Also, you should certainly get a PPI.

Don't worry, I'm definitely getting a PPI. In fact, if anyone has any LA-area shops that do a good PPI please let me know.

I'll do a write up of the process either way.
