Yeah. Ummmmmm .... Ok now ...
Alignment? Have never heard of anyone needing one. If concerned, get it checked out.
The Cayenne or Macan vs. a 911? Apples to cheeseburgers. Other than the name Porsche, that's where the comparisons end.
The engine sound .... Yes louder. Not insulated in the front like a sedan. That's the appeal of a 911.
Not knowing you or your situation, can't really comment further. I've learned we have a wide variety of guys here. Sometimes I wrongly assume more people share my outlook on things. Sometimes I'm very surprised.
Good luck![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)

Sorry, I'll let it go. I really do hope you come to love your new 911, if not, maybe post it back up for sale in the HFS thread and find a more enthusiastic owner!

Maybe do an intro post on the main board and we can continue there.
Getting a bit off topic here now. Want to stick with the HFS listing chat. Thanks.

Lawn mower remarks, it's like the engine is sitting naked without any sound insulation. I never had a porche especially the 911, the only porche i had the opportunity to spend most time is a Panamera own by a relative
. Anyone got a video or sound clip of their engines?

Re: your lawnmower comment. Are you referring to the sound at cold startup? I believe they are programmed to run very rich during initial minute or so of warm up and I would agree, it's more of a rattle and shake sound during that initial warm up period but it does smooth out after that and then the sound toughens up. Is that what you are referring to??

OK, posting some new listings to redeem myself for getting off-topic with bmx...
This one is fresh on the market this weekend.
Not a super great deal, but a great build and low mileage. Car is also local to me so I'm happy to take a look at it if anybody is interested. In fact I'll probably stop by the dealership to take a look on Tuesday anyway.

2012.5 911 C2S
I've worked with Schomp BMW before... Decent enough to work with, no games, but note that this is a "One Price" dealership... They set what they consider to be a fair or slightly aggressive price, mark the cars with that price, and refuse to negotiate at all on price. Zero. Both their new and used cars.- Original MSRP $121,740, Listing price $73,981 (-39%)
- Carrara White over Black leather
- 8,300 miles
- clean carfax
- PDK, PDCC, SPASM, Sport Exhaust, Sport Chrono, Sport Design steering wheel (paddles), Carrera Classic 20" wheels, etc.

After looking at several cars, full leather has become a 'really want to have' if not 'must have' for me along with Sport Chrono & Sport Exhaust. The interiors just look so much nicer with the leather trimmed and stitched dash, doors, rear panels and seat backs.
So one more with full leather... (alas no Sport Exhaust). Nice build.
I think those Sport-Techno's painted in body color Basalt Black are stunning!

What do folks think about the glass sunroof option vs. the regular tilt/slide? - Original MSRP $126,285, Listing price $78,835 (-38%)
- Basalt Black over Black/Platinum two-tone full leather
- 9,6000 miles
- Clean carfax (2-owner, Porsche serviced, 10K service completed)
- Full leather, PDK, Sport chrono, Sport Design paddle shifters, Sport Techno wheels, Glass Sunroof. etc.
- Warranty start date of 4/15, so plenty of warranty left.

Hey, Brian, thanks for the link to the clips-- very interesting. Anybody have one for a 997 turbo?
STG-- sorry, I realize this isn't the place for that query as this is HFS thread.

pfvx,
I'm all ears to read what is desired roof option,as I have had a panno. roof in an E55 as well as my current driver 2014 Touareg and both creaked.
Further,I'm waiting to see what VW pays for Dieselgate

1) Lots of warranty left, in-service date 4/15.
2) Clean carfax, two owners.
3) Small scratch on rear bumper.
4) Seats have an unusual discoloration. Not sure if it is from a cleaning product or something spilled on them. Porsche evidently denied any warranty coverage to the previous owner, and they would be astronomically expensive to replace, so it's kind of an as-is deal. For me, this is a deal-breaker.
5) They said their best price would be $77K. Not bad if someone thought they could have a detailler address the seat issue or was willing to live with it.
Maybe I'm just being too damn picky, but the spots on the seats would bother me every time I got in the car!2) Clean carfax, two owners.

Update on my update: Did some searching on Rennlist, evidently this is a somewhat common problem. Sounds like people have had good results with certain leather cleaners in removing the spots, so maybe this isn't a deal breaker after all... This thread has some impressive before/after pictures. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...eat-spots.html
