I believe that we should all be a little more patient. Prices are still showing strong, but in the end, I believe the prices will be dropping and show be already.
991.1 cars should be closer to $50K for more of a base car with around 40-45K miles on it. Based on trade-in values that are in the high $40's, the dealers will make a small profit. Right now, I'm seeing a $10K mark-up at dealers from trade-in values. WAY too high in this market.
991.2 cars right now should be in the mid-$60k's for a 2017/18 with close to 30K miles. Earlier this year I saw a low option car with only 18K miles on it at a Toyota dealership list for $68K! That was months before the Covid issue.
Right now, the buyer has all the leverage. If the dealer doesn't want to budge, go elsewhere or wait them out.
GL everyone and stay healthy.

Ha! My friend placed a hold on this one two days ago simply due to the price & he is not looking for a cab(build is ok to him). After 24h he gave it up to stick to his original plan of looking for a coupe. If you want a daily/beater type of a 911 cab this is the one to get.

Are 991.2’s dropping more than .1’s?

Here's one from Off-Lease. 2017 coupe with 24K miles for $65k. Too bad it's PDK, but looks like it has some decent options.

Carfax states that it was side swiped when parked in the left rear.

Could possibly pull an Ed Bolian to come up with a really low price due to the prior damage.

Overall you are right. Getting 100k-150k with zero failures is pretty common with a Camry assuming you do the recommended maintenance...which by the way is crazy cheap. Toyotas are Perfect.
Put 100k on a 911 and I think you'll drop a chunk of change on it. But it's a complex, high performance car. Look at the extended warranty pricing curve from Fidelity. They don't like going to 100k.

I'm a manual guy. I do see some of the advantages of the PDK, and would still consider purchasing a PDK, but not without sport+ mode from the sport chrono package.

There is a 2017 base 911 for sale near me with 45,000 miles selling for 65k from an independent used car dealer. Car looks fantastic based on online pics.
Even though this car was purchased, serviced, and eventually traded back to the same Porsche dealer, they auctioned it off. I would have expected them to sell it CPO. The car fax seems odd, showing many things "serviced", including the ignition and AC. Could this car be a potential lemon?

Accident was with a pedicab! IMO it was probably only scratched. I hope to see more cars like this in the future.

I saw this 2012 manual cab come up today with 33k miles for $52K
Carfax looks complete and clean. Just a little odd that it went to auction after the first owner. MSRP $106K.

I think a clean 991 around $50k represents amazing value.
