Thoughts on this 2013 MT C2? It is reasonably well equipped, but the CarFax (https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...AA2A95DS106111) is concerning---little documented service and sold at auction after the first owner.
I've been looking long and hard at the '12-'18 cars and have seen this one come up.
As you said, not much in the way of documented service. The fact that the first owner was a lease and basically has no service records is not so good.
Be patient, there are going to be many more cars available soon. I've suspended my look during the Corona Virus. Not sure what I'm going to be doing. I may put it off for another 6 months or so, but that's just me.
Make sure you check every car fax. I've seen a couple of cars that are listed for basically what all the other cars are (regards to mileage and options) only to find they've been in an accident or two. One was listed for $60K, only had 24K miles on it and said nothing about the fact that it was in an accident and the airbag was deployed!
TBH, these are probably the best deals out there.
This one is a pretty nice 2012 S with low mileage. They originally listed it for $65K then changed it to $75K for a week and then lowered it back to $65K. Not sure why, but $65K is a decent deal for this one. https://www.charlottemclaren.com/201...ra-s-c-710.htm
They've had this one for a little while. You may be able to get it for around $70k. https://www.landroverbuckhead.net/us...bd95d8a494.htm
The newer 991.2 cars are going to be coming off leases soon and with the 992 coming out, I believe they'll be a real bargain and they'll eat most of the depreciation. Should be able to pick one up in the mid to upper $60's in a few months.

Looks like a nice spec. I’d pay up to $53k for it but definitely have a PPI done.
I actually looked into this car. Porsche said the exhaust recall was for standard exhausts only and this one has PSE, with the button in the wrong spot. I asked the dealer to send a video of passive and active mode, which they did. It sounds less aggressive than the others I’ve heard. Perhaps an incomplete retrofit, just the main muffler maybe?

I looked up the VIN and it has the Sport tailpipes from the factory not the full PSE, so that button could be an add-on.

Also it's a very early launch car from June 2012.
The exhaust tone definitely changed when he hit the button, so there’s at least a partial retrofit done. It’s definitely not just a button install. I called them out on it not being factory equipped with PSE and just having sport tailpipes optioned. I have the video if any prospective buyer is interested. They also couldn’t answer my question about the original wheels in platinum now being gloss black. I know wheels get changed all the time but I wasn’t comfortable overall, so I passed.
There’s lots of data on this particular car just googling the VIN.
Something tells me the HFS DEALS will be flooding in soon ... very unfortunate things happening financially, but opportunities for others. That's life ...
Well, looks like CarMax stopped the transfer program. All cars are non transferable now. Another sign of normal life disruption
So, even if you find a good deal, you may not be able to find transportation, unless the good deal is local.
Hadn't thought much about that... And fly & drive is not really a viable option for the next few weeks or months either.
There's a new C2 Cab listing from Autoshow with PDK, Sport Chrono, PAS, and other great options for $65k.
Also, Vroom lowered their price on this modestly optioned C2 Cab to $62k.
Do you all think this is a response to market downturn and Coronavirus hysteria and signalling an overall slashing of 991.2 prices, or are these cars the exception and need to be acted on quickly?

It’s because the economy is failing due to corona. Not many people are willing to buy expensive cars during these times. I saw a low miles 991 GT3 for $130k. It will be a good time to scoop up a car if you have the means to.
As far as Vroom, I would do a PPI. They had an 2017 low mileage GTS priced really good, but it had overrevs.
Well, this may not appear to some to be an obvious "HFS" candidate -- but it could be with the right offer!!!
While ago I put my '15 GTS / PDK up for sale. Here's the listing in Marketplace: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1175725
I've had some low-ball offers, but even with this pandemic I am not desperate enough to sell at or below wholesale!
I just need that one, reasonable number to let this amazing car go....

Yep, the GTS market has definitely gone softer. Quite a few used ones have been sitting at dealers for a while.

I don't know if I would agree it is specific to GTS'.... More like the market in general. I've watched the local dealer inventory sitting for past couple of months - all models / years 991's are slow to move there.
