Although a bit of a high miler but asking is also among the lowest, MT + DBM + espresso/cognac full leather int really tough to beat/hard to find combo imo. heated multifunction steering + premium pkg + glass roof perfect for daily duties. And being a high miler already you can just keep piling on the miles.... My only complaint is the 14 way seat and (maybe) lack of PSE

Btw one extra set of wheel/tires too

This is the car with the odd service record showing things like air intake serviced and ignition system serviced. Could this be a red flag for a car with potential gremlins?

^That could be just how they have it noted in their computers. That wouldn’t bother me either way. If something was fixed vs serviced should be better off now anyways , and that was a little while ago. It’s better than not seeing any service records on the carfax

Air intake serviced, means they changed the air filters. Ignition system serviced, means they changed the spark plugs. Nothing unusual, just normal servicing.

OK, back to the original topic.
I don't know the owner, can't remember the location, but this is the hottest 991.2 in this price range I've ever seen. It makes me wonder why I'm the only person to mention it here. Of looking, I'd jump at it at this price. I should also mention that the $69k asking price is less than half what the $141k+ factory MSRP would have been with the X51 PowerKit installed.

This is not to say a buyer does not need to do his due diligence. I surely would...

Here is a car I've been watching on Autotrader for a few weeks. I think it was first listed at upper $50k and is now under $49k. Great spec and high invoice of $140,920. The reason for the low price is an accident with airbag deployment in 2016. The dealer sent me the TrueFrame report for what that's worth. It doesn't have a branded title. I know there are plenty of no-story cars out there so curious what people think in general about buying damaged cars. Of course there are never any pictures of the damage. Reminds me of this thread . I think deciding to buy a damaged car comes down to how long you plan on keeping the car and how much of a pain you are willing to deal with when it comes time to sell.

I also think this looks like a great deal. Mileage is a little high for a 2017 but when you consider in-service date of May 2016, not too high.
I think some people are turned off by the customization. Looks like a lot of parts were on the car at one time and then removed and re-sold.
Seller is not doing themselves any favors with the confusion over what is actually included with the car.
Some of the car pictures have parts that are in the separate parts list (some of which are marked as sold).

For that kind of money and options, you have plenty of clean cars with less mileage. PDK verts are plentiful and not priced the way a manual coupe is (what I'm looking for).
If I were you, I'd go after this car any day of the week. MSRP was $111K and only 34K miles. They are asking $53K - so actual sale price would more than likely be closer to what you're looking at for a car that had the airbag go off (that will be with the car forever).

Do yourself a favor, use autotempest.com and setup a search for what you're looking for. Make searching so much easier.

Think the 2017’s at around 65–68k are selling well...regularly switching to ‘Not Available’ on my saved lists.

I agree, but those cars are usually very basic, not well optioned, no sport chrono, in widely available colors, black, white, silver, gray...

That is a nice looking car but is a 3.4 without sport chrono. The 3.8 and sport chrono add a lot to asking prices.
I am not seriously considering that airbag car but I think it could be an option for someone looking for a long term car (not a short term flip) especially at closer to $40k.

Good suggestion about autotempest. I always forget about them.

I think it is the mileage; $3k for every 10,000 miles. What would a similar 2017 with 10,000 miles sell for private party? $83,000? If so, the price is right. If that is a little steep (and it might be, PP may be more like $76-79k) then that is why it is still hanging out
