Wow, was just checking that website. That '17 .2 sold for less than the '14 991.1S listed below it, which is being asked for $68.8K, and has higher mileage. Basically the .2 depreciated faster

Interesting. Maybe people do care about the last of the naturally aspirated C2S. That or they just have a chunk of change in the 991.1...

indeed. He needs one for semi daily driving so pdk and all the amenities are huge plus and the glass roof too. He doesn’t really care for sc/pse but this one also has sc too which will help for resale. I’d say the only cons is the missing of full leather int(and 19 base wheel probably suits his needs better). But can’t really ask for too much shopping for a bargain base.

Well, I've got no complaint there paying less for newer and better(at least to me)product.

I'm really digging this one:

https://www.porcelliautosales.com/de...e-911/64460303

Although a bit of a high miler but asking is also among the lowest, MT + DBM + espresso/cognac full leather int really tough to beat/hard to find combo imo. heated multifunction steering + premium pkg + glass roof perfect for daily duties. And being a high miler already you can just keep piling on the miles.... My only complaint is the 14 way seat and (maybe) lack of PSE

Btw one extra set of wheel/tires too

Very nice car! Great price. I doubt seeing anything price like that at a Porsche dealer. With new car warranty left, no reason not to ****** that one up.

TBH, I think the people selling and owning the NA cars are trying to over inflate the price of what they actually should be. S models are going for a pretty premium (asking price) compared to a standard .2 car.
I'd rather have the .2 if the money is the same. The updates to the .2 are worth it for me. The prices definitely overlap for low mileage cars.

I'm looking for the newest car I can get for the lowest price. Basically a C2(S), manual and options from there don't matter to me at all other than no grey interior.

Not sure if anyone saw this, but it looks like a clean '17 S manual with an original MSRP of $135K is up for auction!
I believe the dealer is auctioning it off.

Still listed on the selling dealers site:

Looks nice for the price. Hopefully other MT .2 C2 models start appearing in that price range.

S+ is great for twisties, imo. When you want to keep it in 2nd and 3rd, the power response is notably different. Not sure about gear mapping, etc, but I see a pretty big difference between Sport Manual and Sport +

Well, to be clear, it sold less than the asking price of the '14 991.1 S. The '14 will most likely sell less than it's asking price as well.

This was the car that had the squirrely service history which I posted above(ac serviced, ignition system serviced, etc). That and the initial Porsche dealership who sold and serviced the car never offered it up for CPO, but instead sent it to auction.
Would this be concerning for a potential lemon?

My last post received a message that a mod needs to approve my post before posting. Did I somehow end up on a bad boy list?

Just thought I'd share. You can search the national Porsche Dealer network for any used cars they have listed.
You can choose options, colors, transmission, model etc. and sort by price if you like. Plenty of ways to search.
