Stop Sale Campaign on 911 with Sport Chrono?
#1081
Im 99% sure that CNC was that socal dealer with the HUGE fraud problems. They were selling consignment cars to multiple buyers to maintain cash flow. There was a youtube video done by a seller who got screwed with his Ferrari there.
Just another reason why I dont understand people feeling better by going through dealers.

Looks like the freeze is over!
Per another thread started today saying the stop sale campaign was over via a software update, I searched the inventory of the dealership that told me they were sitting on a dozen 991.1 non-Turbos with PDK and Chrono. Lo and behold they have 4 up for sale right now.
Here's a nice 2015 CS - https://www.porschedowntownla.com/in...ab2a92fs125733
That price, though!! 😳🙄🤣 They have a '14 turbo for less. Oy.
They DEFINITELY aren't going to flood the market with "normal" prices anytime soon.

I wanted to provide an update and since the "Stop Sale Campaign Lifted" title of the most recent thread is no longer accurate (unfortunately) and more people are subscribed this thread, I figured I would share here.
I was at Porsche Colorado Spring this morning with a friend and was asking a sales rep for an update around the stop sale campaign. She said, as others have mentioned here, it was "supposed" to be lifted last month, but they put a pause on lifting it. They're hearing "soon" now, and that it is a software update as many predicted.
The cars that are covered in the below pic are stop sale campaign 911's. She said they're still buying them at auction, which was news to me, as I knew Porsche dealers were taking them in on trade, but I didn't think they were pursuing them at auctions. They're taking deposits on them, but they're not listing them on their website, so you need to call and ask.
So I've probably stated what many of you already know, however, if any of you are looking for a 991.1 4GTS manual, the sales rep we were talking to said this one might be coming available. There is technically a deposit on it, but she was unsure if the person who has it on hold will go through with the purchase and it might become available. It wouldn't hurt to call and inquire if you're in the market for a .1 4GTS manual.

Good update, thank you. To my knowledge, manual models have never been impacted by the stop-sale. Of course, they are in the minority too.

Oh bummer, sorry to hear. Pretty sure about the US selling manuals, because I saw af 991 50th manual sold by a Porsche dealer and was also told they could sell mine (2013 911S manual) if I traded it in.
In any case, let's hope it get resolved soon.

Also, that GTS is pdk. I had a moment of weakness and contemplated switching from the C4S I have on hold for that GTS.

It was gorgeous. I just gave it a quick look (hence how I didn't even look whether it was PDK or manual). Paint looked great as did the wheels. I also noticed it had full leather and the interior carbon trim package. I believe she said they were asking $129k for it.
