Also, does anyone have a picture of the rear of the CHSTEK unit? I want to buy the adapters for the original porsche GPS receiver and for the the FM Antenna (no DAB in the US). There is detailed information on what is needed for the ERSIN radio in this thread, but I'm not sure if it is the same for the CHSTEK. Thanks!

This is from the 'CHSTEK Official Store' on Ali Express.
The GPS adapter you need is FAKRA C Male to SMA male. Like this:
If you want to use the car's telephone antenna instead of thje one supplied, you need FAKRA D to SMA, like this:
The antenna used by the CHSTEK looks like this. You shouldn't need an adapter for the radio antenna as your car has the correct plug already (or mine did):
just installed mine, so far so good. its pretty fast and the screen looks vivid, and visible in very bright sun light..
the sound of the music/radio is good to me so far, i have Bose sound and i added most box & can bus decoder to it..
i have to tweak & play with it more
NICE! I can't wait to get mine! I will have a Mr12 Volt for sale soon assuming this units works as advertised!

Thank you! You have been so helpful on this thread!!!
One question: If I don't plan to use a SIM card with the unit, then there should be no need for adapter for the 4G antenna right? So all I need is the GPS adapter...

Looks great! Good to hear the screen is visible in strong sunlight.. I had a lot of sun behind me at the weekend and the reflection on the erisin screen made it quite hard to see.. Looking forward to testing the Chstek once it arrives!

Yes, that is correct. Thanks for the kind words BTW
i posted this in wrong thread so repost it here again..
today i discovered 2 things.. one thing is bad hehe, the android version of my unit is android 10 not 13 as they claimed.. and the good thing is the spec is real, 8 ram/256hdd.. you can check your units with cpuz or cpux application and see what spec and android version you use...
despite the device is fast and stable, i wonder why they lie to us and said its android 13!
Yes .. custom designed and made. 2 cameras ; wired & wireless . Leaves PCM with all existing OEM functions. Camera has lines that move with steering wheel when backing up. Front has lines also. Can set the front camera display time to turn off based on settings. Flawless

Yes, the faking of the Android version is apparently common on (nearly all) Chinese Android HUs.
Also, be aware that even CPUZ/CPUX can be fooled by custom firmware. In particular, some vendors are known to fake the installed memory. There's an app call "Fake Device Test" that can be run to check real values. This app runs crashes on the CHSTEK a few seconds after launch, but it's open long enough to confirm correct CPU, memory and storage (and fake Android 13).
I ordered the CHSTEK unit and it was delivered a couple of days ago. There were no installation instructions or operating manual included. Anyone have information they can share?
Also, being in the US, we have no 4G. What added functionality/connectivity will I be missing as a result?

You won't be able to put a SIM in the HU's slot. It's no big deal as most people just connect their unit to the internet with a hotspot from their phone. If you intend to use Android Auto or Carplay as you main interface, then the loss of the 4G slot won't make any difference at all. You can find all the installation tips you need in this thread. The CHSTEK is 99% the same as every other Android HU.
Just ordered a mr12volt kit for my 16C4S... has anyone connected a third party rear camera to it? Looking for suggestions/help to do so.
Btw, had an NM Automotive kit installed last year on my 14C4. It was okay... but like how mr12volt is a separate "TV" channel... will report out a comparison once I get the mr12volt installed.
